#I let my mom read my book #Specifically bc she’s the only person I trust to be brutally honest and she has been in the past #I was so nervous thinking it would be bad #But she LOVED it #She sped through it in 3 days and kept texting me updates with her thoughts and afterward she wanted to discuss character motivations #I haven’t seen her this excited about any media in ages #I’m literally sooooo happy and thrilled rn bc I was scared it would be bad #And having someone whose opinion I trust tell me it’s good is so exciing #Now I have to decided whether I want to try to get it published #It seems like an exhausting process trying to pitch to agents #And also I’m not able bodied enough to go to readings/signings if that would be necessary #So idk yet
