A rich plant haul today! I stopped on the side of the road to collect two of the Mojave's beautiful wildflowers: brittlebush and pincushion! The brittlebush can be used for cleansing and healing with its resin used as an incense by the natives Americans! I look forward to making tinctures and teas with this yellow beauty. I also acquired a Starry Night petunia and foxglove (poisonous) to add to my collection! And I was lucky enough to happen upon a very robust true dandelion growing out from under my home, so I took a clipping to propagate for salad, tea, and salve :]
