Is there a Cost-free RuneScape Classic Account?
It is highly unlikely that anyone will give their Runescape Classic account away, even the most generous of people. The accounts are extremely scarce today. The Runescape classic is now only accessible to members on a trial basis, or accounts created during the classic time period. Although, there is one exception. Members had the opportunity to upgrade to classic in 2009, which allows members to use the classic version for the rest of their lives. (At least it seems to be so long as you're a member.)
This information is taken from Runescape's site: "Only two types of accounts can play RuneScape Classic: those who played RuneScape Classic at least once from August 3rd 2005 to February 3rd, 2006 and those who played during the open two-week period from 11th November 2009 to 25th November 2009. You must be an active member to play RuneScape Classic during this period. "
Players who have been enabled for classic are not affected by this feature. Although, players may only access the Classic Server with membership. If your membership runs out it won't be able to access Runescape Classic until you renew your membership.
The following quote comes from Runescape's news in May 2010: "If your membership lapses, you will not be able to log into Classic again until you become a member again. Your account will be "classic-enabled" regardless of when your membership expires. This means that you will not lose access to Classic forever in the event that you let your membership expire. CALISTOMEBEL It will be restored after you become a member.

33 Magic (not Needed, but Recommended)
The Dragon Slayer quest in runescape is possibly the hardest quest that free to play players of the game be required to complete. This was once the most difficult quest in runescape but that was many years ago, and the game has seen huge changes.

As of 1 February 2022
TzTok-Jad was the strongest monster in the game for almost three years. Its name can be roughly translated as "Obsidian fire elemental".
TzTok Jad must be fought by players on their own with the aid of Summoning creatures and a dwarf multicannon. Players must defeat 271 other monsters before they can fight Jad which results in a significant use of food, potions, ammunition and prayers, among others.
TzTokJad is strong enough to pose a risk to any inexperienced or unprepared player, regardless of skill or equipment.
A player might be assigned an assignment of TzHaar monsters from the city of Kuradal and the requirement to "Upgrade" your task. If you do, you will be given the task being assigned to Volcanic Creatures. This means you can opt to kill through the Fight Cave all the way to TzTok-Jad for a special reward of 25,000 Slayer experience (not the base reward of 1,309 experience), in addition to any experience gained from the Caves.
In addition, players can receive 1-4 TzTok-Jads in a Soul Reaper task. As the Fight Caves may take a long time for players, the TokHaar or TzekHaar versions of TzTok-Jad may be destroyed in their place.
Contents

Strategy[edit
Rewards[edit
Although TzTok-Jad doesn't drop any items, if it is defeated, it will reward the player with several items, and they have completed the TzHaar Fight Cave.
100% drops[edit
If the player dies prior to when Jad's death animation is over it is possible to not receive a Fire Cape. If a dart with a deathtouch was used, players will still get a killcount. This is counted towards Soul Reaper tasks.
^ Drops on the ground beneath the player's inventory if it is full.

In the 38th Postbag from the Hedge, the Wise Old man calculated the approximate number of Roosters required to complete the TzHaar Fight Cave and kill TzTok-Jad at 5,308. In addition to that, the Wise Old Man mentions TzTok-Jad is allergic to chicken. 1. When the player has killed TzTok-Jad, their Adventurer's Log will say "I defeated TzTok-Jad and I am now able to claim my fire cape." TzTokJad must have a combat rank of 720, and Ket-Zek's combat rank is 360. This is in line with the original premise behind the Fight Caves monsters (combat levels and lives points were doubled each time), The hitpoint limit of TzTok-Jad's at 255 was set when he was introduced. CALISTOMEBEL This means that he could not have more than 320 hitpoints. This is double Ket-Zeks 160 hitpoints. Thus, his hitpoints were set to 250, which resulted in a combat level of 702 instead of 720. With the Evolution of Combat update, the life points of monsters in Fight Caves have since been changed; however, original combat levels are still in place. As of February 1, 2018, the top number of kills for this boss was 7,614 kills, shared between this boss and TokHaarJad. [2] - This figure had risen to 7,789 as of 13 December 2018. [3]

John Kasich was Photographed At Mike's
Article content A visit to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx means one thing: Italian food.
Article content Fresh mozzarella, handmade pasta and hero sandwiches loaded with ham, tomatoes, cheese, and peppers - it's all here in the restaurants, delis shops, cafes, and bakeries that line Arthur Avenue and East 187th Street.
Arthur Avenue is Italian. The Bronx's Belmont region is famous for its cuisine and its culture originating from Italy.
Some of the most well-known restaurants include Tino's Deli, Madonia Brothers Bakery and an oldschool, family-style restaurant named Dominick's. But there are many other spots to enjoy the neighborhood's bounty. For an excellent cup of coffee or cannoli, stop by the DeLillo Pasticceria cafe. There are shelves filled with sweets and cookies. Check out Borgatti's pasta store where you can watch egg noodles being made on the spot. Borgatti's take-home specialties include fettuccine made with squid ink and ravioli.
Signing up was a challenge.
Content for articles A must-see for any trip to the area is the Arthur Avenue Retail Market. This indoor location has a shop where cigars are made by hand, a produce store and Mike's Deli. calisto mebel It is a favorite destination for celebrities and politicians. In early April, Ohio Gov. John Kasich was photographed at Mike’s eating sandwiches and spaghetti while he lobbied for votes in the New York Republican presidential primaries. The deli has a scrapbook of photographs of other famous visitors, including Robert DeNiro (and Hillary Clinton), who were seen eating massive amounts of cheese and whole salamis.
David Greco, whose father created Mike's Deli, recommends the Michelangelo hero, served with prosciutto and delicious fresh mozzarella as one of the top things on the menu. Make sure that you keep the top of the sandwich with seeds on the roll of sandwich facing up. Greco will observe if you don't do this and tell you "Your bread is upside down." It's bad luck.
Article content Arthur Avenue is located in the Belmont section of the Bronx. Belmont claims to be the "real" Little Italy, asserting that it is an Italian-American community with more life than Manhattan's Little Italy, which has diminished in recent years to a mere few blocks.
But while the Italian flavor of Belmont's culture and stores remains strong, the population of families of Italian descent has declined over time. Today, the local mix includes Latinos, Albanians, and students from nearby Fordham University. However, you can still see old ladies chatting in Italian in the back of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church that is with columns of marble, stained glass windows and statues of the Madonna.
It's not unusual to see people from all walks of life on Arthur Avenue, Greco prefers certain types of shoppers. "My favourite customers," he says, "are the grandparents."

Take the time to think about what you did on January 4 2001. It's not difficult to remember, is it? We're betting that a few of you were playing a new MMO called RuneScape but if you were, well, congratulations on being an MMO geek before becoming an MMO nerd was cool.
Jagex's browser title turns 12 years old today, and the company has racked up a list of impressive figures that include over 486 million hours of gaming played by RuneScape players in 2012. calisto mebel Those players killed each other more than 3.2 billion times, as well. Jagex also claims that the game crossed the 200 million mark in accounts last July.

Find out more about Us.
The game has seen a lot of improvements since its first release. Regular updates have made the game even more enjoyable.
However, after installing the latest game update, many Old School RuneScape players have been experiencing various issues with the game , such as FPS drops, lagging, and crashes.
Old School RuneScape lagging and FPS drops issue
Many OSRS players have taken to social media platforms to report (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6 7, 8 9) that they are facing low FPS and crashes on mobile devices, making the game impossible to play.
Here are some of the reports from those affected:
I am experiencing lags of 0.5 frames per second when I use mlm, but not when I run herb (though there are still slight slowdowns). Sometimes it will even shut down the app completely. This happened prior to the last update. Anyone else have the same experience? (Source)
Luckily, Jagex support has acknowledged the lagging issue and has confirmed that they are currently investigating it.
There is a workaround however, that may assist you in overcoming this problem until developers can come up with a solution. It's listed below. Calistomebel
Solution to a problem that has been lingering for a long time
If you're experiencing an excessive amount of lag playing mobile in MLM or WC Guild make sure to disable respawn timers and restart the game to get rid of the lag. This is the issue I had this morning and my clanmates were able to show me the solution. I hope this will help someone! (Source)
Old School RuneScape crashing issue
In addition to the lagging and FPS issues, a few gamers are also complaining (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 6,) that the game is not working for players on mobile. Those affected say that the game crashes randomly and then closes.
Here are some reports from disgruntled actors:
It has become worse since they started making improvements for mobile. It started with random crashes and the game closing down. And now today, the frame rates are so low that it's almost impossible to play, and that's only me trying to afk mine. Nothing too demanding. (Source I have an iPhone 11).
I'm not sure what's going on but I'm experiencing random crashes when I try to travel through the catacombs or teleport to them. I started to notice lags while cutting teaks. There was no tick manipulation, or anything. I've tried everything, played around with my wife's cell data, but I am not sure if the issue is with my cell phone or the server. Hoping that someone else has an answer or is experiencing similar issues. (Source)
The support team has acknowledged the crash issue and is working on resolving it.
They also mentioned that the problem is likely caused by overlays on the screen. The affected users will be able to fix it by turning off overlays like the Mining and Woodcutting timers.
We will continue to keep an eye on developments and inform you whenever we learn of anything.
Note: We've got more stories like this in our dedicated gaming section, so make sure to follow these stories as well.

WARNING This is a subpage for Moments for RuneScape spoilers are all unmarked according to the policy. Go beyond this point only when you are brave! You've been warned.
Zanik's letter to the Player Character in Postbag 45, in response to Video Game Caring Potential.Wow. It's incredible.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to explain this in a way that you can comprehend. I'm not sure what to say that will make sense. I don't even know if it makes sense in my head. But I know what I need to do, and I'm required to explain it to you.
Right now, I'm on the top of a mountain near the ocean. The sun is rising. Every time I see it, I'm thinking of you. You first showed it to me, the sky and the sun, and I'll always remember that. You gave me a glimpse of the surface. We had an incredible adventure, and I'll never forget that.
And I'd be lying if I said I did not feel something for you. As we stood in front of the portal, as we were about confronting Bandos and the Bandos, a part of me wanted to hug you and kiss you. But I thought that was crazy, I'd just thought of an evil god in my head and thought I was going to die. I was not thinking clearly and so in the end I didn't do anything. Now it seems that you wanted me not to. I must apologize and clarify.
It's like...all the time we were adventuring together, it was all about you. You know? You were the hero and I was your sidekick. I kept getting into trouble and you kept rescuing me. Even at the conclusion, when we defeated Bandos and I was knocked out, and you went on to finish it on your own. In a way, I kind of resent this. It was something I wished I had done.
I don't want my whole life to look like that. I want to prove that I am an adventurer and hero in my own right. Not just someone's sidekick. Even not your own. So that's why I'm travelling on my own this moment, and am not looking for travel companions or any kind of serious relationship.
I hope you understand.
I will always think of you every when I look up at the sun.
~Zanik~
- Speaking of Zanik, take her to speak to Xenia during the tour of Lumbridge in "Death to the Dorgeshuun" They'll be in a frank and friendly relationship. It's a refreshing change in pace to be able to see Xenia so warm and genuine, considering how dishonest and vicious Xenia is sometimes in her spotlight appearances. - If you completed Tutorial Island before it was removed from the game, all of the tutors will remember you in some way. This is what the prayer tutor said: The music is the original Newbie Melody- the first song to be unlocked in the game, in all its MIDI glory. Pure, unadulterated nostalgia. The possibility of returning to this location is enough to make it feel warm and fuzzy. Jagex faithfully recreated the entire experience with an underwater twist. Calisto mebel Unfortunately, you won't get the chance to bring it up. However you can save all of its teachers. A note of special interest to Mei the Grey's line before you take her out. Mekritus A'hara has Mort Myre Pears, which he consumed to swell himself. Radigad Ponfit consumed moonlight mead often. - Vertida Sefalatis is a flamboyant stake-thrower crossbow that he preferred. Polmafi Ferdygris owns a copy Histories of the Hallowland as an ode to his research as an academic. -- Safalaan Hallow has holy water to honor his icyene roots. - Along the way, you find a group of headless ice golems, and you and Violet help give them new heads. They cheer happily with each new head you give one. Violet is determined to roar to create a snow avalanche to solve the puzzles. Her father offers to roar for her, however, the player snuffs him out. He declares that this is Violet's adventure and she just wants to have fun. Towards the end of the story, Violet starts getting nervous. Violet worries that she won't be liked by other children of yetis, and won't want to play with them. The player reassures her that as a sweet girl and an adventurer, the kids will love her. They are right. When the party arrives in town on a sled the other kids are amazed by her, and extremely impressed by the route she took to reach her destination, and she runs off with a smile on her face. Group Ironman is Live In Old School RuneScape
Old School RuneScape has just become more competitive with the launch of Group Ironman, an all-new co-op mode, available to players on both mobile and desktop. After receiving the most number of votes from players of any content poll in Old School RuneScape's history, today's Group Ironman launch finally brings teams to the game's highly popular Ironman game mode.
Players join forces to become Old School legends by participating in the group Ironman. Teams of two to five players compete together in a battle of wills and skills where they must devise strategies to break records and rise to the top of the leaderboards. The most exciting thing is that there aren't limitations for the players. They can trade equipment storage, trade resources and even visit each other's Player-Owned homes. This is the best way to be socially.
Every single piece of content in Old School RuneScape is voted on by the players in polls, and requires a majority of 75% to be approved. The Group Ironman poll saw more than 140,000 players cast their vote making it the biggest player-voted poll in the game's eight-year history - and achieved a very successful 80% approval rating.
To coincide with the launch today four teams of content creators will be showcasing Group Ironman on their live streams as they put their freshly created teams to the test. Each team is comprised of top gamers and will be playing on a Temporary Creator-only Game World with accelerated XP and Drops to help provide them with a glimpse of what Group Ironman has to offer. The Group Ironman streams will be available to watch from October 6th at 19.00BST/ 11.00PDT and 24.00BST/ 16.00PDT here: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Old%20School%20RuneScape.
Group Ironman is available to Old School RuneScape members and non-members. Players can create a new account to play the game mode and then use 'The Node' to form new groups or they can form them by themselves in real life. Gather your friends and prepare for a battle. calisto mebel

Runescape developer Jagex has put a stop to Runelite HD, a fan-made HD mod for the popular open-source client for Old School Runescape, just when the project was set to go live on Monday. The decision was made at the eleventh hour, and has led to some Runescape fans decrying Jagex's decision and saying they'll move to other MMOs.
Reddit user "117", Runelite HD developer shared the message that he received from Jagex on Tuesday. Jagex later confirmed the message via an article on its blog. Runelite HD operates as a plugin that will provide an extensive visual overhaul to the basic Runescape, as can be seen on 117's Twitter. The modder said that Runelite HD has been in development for around 2,000 hours in the past two years.
"Yesterday we contacted the developers of known HD projects and asked them to stop development of their projects, since this is a matter that we are investigating directly," Jagex stated.

Jagex told 117 that the company's work on the development of an HD version of Old School Runescape was "still relatively early in the exploration stage" however, it was "very much progress."
"Naturally, this means that any fan-led project that aims to alter the way Old School RuneScape appears is in opposition to our own plans," Jagex wrote to 117. "We believe it's vital that Old School appears consistent, so we want to ensure that our official changes are the only ones. Jagex and the Old School team are excited to announce that they will be working seriously this project. However, we will politely ask that you close your personal project.
117 stated that they had offered Jagex an option in the form of dropping their project after Jagex had released their own, and giving Jagex "collaborative control" over Runelite HD's visual style.
"They declined outright," 117 stated. "I am beyond sad with Jagex and am sorry that, after this long journey this project isn't feasible for me to share with you.
The mod 117 isn't able to go against Jagex's guidelines on third-party clients, but the Runescape developer says it will be making changes to the guidelines in the coming week to include references to projects that affect the appearance of the game.
Original Runelite developer Adam1210 shared his thoughts on Reddit, saying that the ability to allow Runelite HD to continue would provide a net benefit for future updates developed by Jagex.
"I also strongly oppose adding it to the "third party guidelines," Adam1210 said. "Most of those guidelines attempt to define what the line between quality of lifecheating] and cheating is - and I think majority of people believe that the current guidelines are a great illustration of that, and it is a good way to keep the integrity of the game. There isn't an unfair advantage for better graphics and it will only affect players when they enable it. Therefore, this is an infringement of guidelines. Overall, this is an inconvenience for everyone involved and I'd like to see Jagex would reconsider."
Some fans of the Runelite HD project have taken to a town square in Falador, a capital city of one of Runescape's main kingdoms, to hold a sit-in protest similar to the protest that World of Warcraft players held in July. The video shows players posting text messages that criticize Jagex and using hashtags like #Free117. Another video shows players "marchingaround" outside Falador Square.
It is not known how long Jagex was aware of 117's Runelite HD Project.
PC Gamer has reached out to Jagex PR for comment regarding the matter however, we haven't received a response as of publishing time.

As Previously Mentioned
As previously mentioned, runescape price stability is likely to return following Jagex having banned almost 30,000 accounts in recent weeks. The majority of banned accounts were bot accounts that were created for the sole purpose of capturing resources to sell for gold in runescape that was later resold to real cash.
Prices for sharks dropped to 500gp prior to the massive ban on bot accounts. Gradually, the cost has increased and is currently at around 700-800gp range. Calistomebel This has come due to the market being less flooded, and demand increasing.
Other products affected were also able to see their prices increase somewhat, but they are not back to the pre-bot issue era. However, it does allow people to get more value for the time they put into collecting the resources.
In addition, merchanting items have increased due to greater price stability. Many merchants could have lost millions due to panic and selling after prices had topped out. Merchants have been stock-buying to take advantage of an increase in prices, and now they can to purchase stocks.
