The car sat there for at least a couple of years. Users of the Google maps service found a DeLorean DMC-12 car on one of the maps, which is a copy of the model used in the Back to the Future trilogy. The car was found in the small community of Mozart, West Virginia. It's parked on the side of the road, next to a utility pole, just up the street from the abandoned house. It is assumed that the car was simply parked and never returned for it. The car was initially spotted in November 2021, but remained there into 2023, according to the latest Google Maps satellite imagery.
