I'm so excited to see someone still up to date with Saiyuki. I've been watching all the series again, including Burial with subtitles. I've never read the mangas, but I have lots and lots of questions. is there a current forum I could join to ask my questions? Thank you Sage. :)

I just started rewatching all the old Saiyuki animations too, it’s a lot of fun and lots of folks have been doing Saiyuki Rewatches lately too! If you keep an eye on the tag you’ll see it pop up every now and then!

Sadly there’s not really a forum. I often post the Saiyuki discord chat room and we tend to get bursts of activity every now and then! If you have questions I’m in there a lot, but there’s other folks too who are happy to chat about Saiyuki!

Livejournal used to be the place to talk about Saiyuki back in the day, now it’s basically our close knit little group on tumblr, but hopefully the new anime will draw in new readers and viewers!

If you ever have time, I definitely recommend reading the manga. There’s so much that the animes omitted or changed from the original material!
