what did they put in that indie survival horror game that it has such a grasp on me

#this is the third month i'll be into d//nt st//rve exclusively like -__- #i'm usually into things for like a month maybe two max #and as i said i'm going on three here and i'm still super into it i'm invested in it i wanna keep drawing for it etc etc #and also about the characters. like i usually have a favorite or two and here i'll be like oh let me check something about this character #real quick and then 3 minutes later i'm looking through their quotes and thinking of drawing ideas #seriously what did they put in this game #and also the game's world like. i'm usually not that into lore either just because it's hard for me to understand and find content for it #usually but here i'm genuinely curious and want to find out more about the world #even though i initially wanted to only. draw a few characters and then fuck off #lol sorry about the tags i'm normal about this game ok #AND also god. i thought i wouldn't be a d//nt st//rve fan bc i didn't get into it last year and was i wrong #i seriously watched that rework short like welp! this will have no effect on me ^__^ #also i swore i wouldn't buy this game both last year and like two months ago when i was only starting to get into it #but i bought it and it's so fun #50 zł very well spent #GAH!! sorry i love this game i love this series i'm going to explode #I'M SO GLAD i got into it i'm having so much fun genuinely :3
