Usually, it was Nancy or Karen who had the ‘Holly makeover’ done to them: letting her play around with cheap makeup, style their hair and sometimes even paint their nails to get all dolled up for tea parties. Being the only one home, it was now Mike’s responsibility to entertain her and make sure she was looked after. As much as he would rather be reading comics or playing video games, or even Holly how to play them, he knew that she would definitely complain to their parents if she had a bad time; and then he would have to hear a lecture from his mom and the annoying echo of his dad agreeing with everything she said.

In the living room on the main level of the house, Mike was sitting on the carpeted floor with Holly on the couch directly behind him. Small hands were playing with his hair, which had grown to be quite long and now reached his shoulders, thus allowing Holly to be able to tie his hair easily enough into pigtails. He was in the middle of flicking through the channels, trying to see if there was anything entertaining on, when she made a comment about his hair and how nice it looked today. Well, he had to see what she'd done to it now.

Mike picked up the handheld mirror to take a look at the work his little sister had done and held it at a distance to allow him to see it in full. Paired with the hair ties, there was an abundance of sparkly and colourful clips in various places. They didn't really serve much of a purpose either, since they weren't holding anything in place. Nancy would surely be giggling right about now if she could see this new look of his. ❝Holy sh—I mean, wow. It doesn’t look nearly as good on me as it does on you, but you managed to make me look sort of pretty. Good job.❞ Grinning, he reached his arm up to playfully pinch his little sisters nose. ❝So, if this is the final result, are you ready to do something else?❞
