Politics and the Monkey World, A4 Color Print
It is a work of fiction that I propose to you, on a theme widely approached in the cinema.
Against a background of the city of the future, we can discover the head of state in the center, surrounded by his faithful assistants.
Below, in the center, a detail from a work by Bansky on parliament.
Finally, on either side of this assembly, one could imagine that they are witnesses to the session that is taking place: one taking notes, the other listening with an attentive ear.
We can notice the solemn tone that seems to reign in this hemicycle.
And what is the point of all this?
I wanted to have a little fun to accompany the philatelic object of the day: it is a block of 16 stamps issued by Equatorial Guinea in 1975. It is unused and in good condition. You can see it on one of the last views, with the block stuck thanks to its protective envelope (it can be extracted with care, and does not risk anything),
and a photo of the back of the same block.
The values of this block are expressed in Euros (€), and are there for information only.
The last two stamps are issued for air mail.
On each of them a representative of the order of the primates:
- the guereza colobus
- the orangutan
- Java langur
- the pygmy marmoset
- the monk capuchin
- the crowned mangabey
- the chimpanzee
- the pig-tailed macaque
- the loot
- the cercopithecus
- the gibbon
- the gelada

Antoine Lavoisier, one of the fathers of modern chemistry, A4 color printing
https://www.etsy.com/fr/listing/1129299690/antoine-lavoisier-un-des-peres-de-la?
"Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed"
Antoine Laurent Lavoisier, is a French chemist, philosopher and economist, often presented as the father of modern chemistry.
From his very first attempt at classifying chemical elements in 1789 to Glenn Seaborg's periodic table that we use today, many scientists have contributed over a period of nearly two centuries; among them Mendeleev, who remains the most famous.
To illustrate this 1943 French stamp, I chose a copy of the canvas by Jacques Louis David with Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier and his wife Marie-Anne-Pierrette Paulze at the bottom of the page.
I added a sculpture by DALOU Aimé Jules (and the SUSSE brothers as founders)
French sculptor. Dalou is, with Rodin, the outstanding figure of French sculpture at the end of the 19th century. But even during his lifetime, the public's perception of his art may have suffered from Rodin's immense fame.
There are similarities in the creations of the two friends.
Finally, I added different utensils, including the scale which symbolizes his famous phrase.
On this assembly, I stuck the stamp mentioned above while protecting it with a transparent envelope to risk nothing.
This stamp is vintage, unused and issued in 1943.
You will find its quotation in one of the last views proposed; only purpose, to give the philatelic information, because in the best case, the real value represents half of that indicated.
The item for sale is the A4 print of the montage on which the stamp is glued; you can see the result in the first views offered.
