Angels of Ente Isla

Okay so I was perusing the Internet and found a list of angel names and I found some interesting connections between angels in various religions and those found in Devil. Laila: She's probably derived from an actual angel named Laylah (spellings vary) who represents night and childbirth. (From the very brief research I did of her off Wikipedia). I find it interesting that Laila gives Emi and Maou a child, and Laylah is associated with childbirth. I like how Wagahara subtly slips those connections in. Sariel: The list I was reading had an angel called Asariel who was associated with the moon. Sariel has that association as well, at least in the anime. Lucifer: Fallen angel from the bible. This one is pretty much exactly alike, except in Christianity Lucifer becomes the devil. Gabriel: Actual Archangel. Raguel: This angel watches over the other angels, just like in The Devil Is a Part-Timer.
