finished the shattered chain

didn't like it nearly as much as when I was a teen.

Like, the first part, about Rohana and saving her cousin? This I really enjoyed, and I think she's really my favourite character in all of Darkover (with Leonie bc once again I support women's wrongs)

but Magda and Jaelle just... kind of bored me. Especially Jaelle, but that's just me not being able to relate to a woman's passion for a mediocre man who even in the honeymoon phase doesn't respect her way of life lol. At least Magda has a somewhat interesting internal conflict with her double identity
