I have one single really good reliable sweet egg bread recipe and rn I’m experimenting with all the different uses for it (babka, cinnamon rolls etc) but eventually I wanna work up the courage to delve into sourdough and laminated doughs (if the price of butter ever fucking drops again) and revisit choux projects

#I used to make cream puffs and eclairs and shit p regularly when I was a teen #I’ve had the worlds godawfulest apartment kitchens until I moved here I totally forgot how much I love baking!! #I had a brief culinary school pastry chef aspiration before I learned of like. working conditions etc #the farm allows me to access quite a lot of fruits- elderberry ground cherry raspberry #strawberries small amts of blueberries and haskaps plus I know a spot for juneberries #and a selection of herbs- different basils mint sage rosemary thyme etc #also rhubarb! #flour hour #not super into cakes atm but this may change #plus what I can forage for other flavours- viburnum berries hawthorns meadowsweet and melilot agrimony and monarda
