Spirit Realm Au: Kamui woods!

Even though this part doesn't really take place in the spirit realm 💀💀💀

So after the lab incident he escaped with no serious injuries but he did get a massive upgrade to his quirk.

His quirk now allows them to manipulate any type of wood existing or that he manifested.

But due to this drastic change to his quirk it’s causing some side effects like body aches, off balanced hormones, and mood swings/emotional issues. (The mood swings/emotional issues are mostly caused by hormones and the current situation.)

Speaking of his current situation~

After the lab incident edgeshot died saving bakugo and Mt. Lady went missing in action. Edgeshot being the closest thing to a father figure kamui had and him dating Mt. Lady  he was not live laugh loving.

Kamui tried searching for Mt. Lady on his own but to no avail. Due to the amount of time that has passed he lost pretty much any hope of finding her :(

Because of his mental and quirk unstableness the hospital kept him in an on-site apartment.

Shortly after the lab incident info was discovered about “lab product” buildings.

Kamui often spent time with the babies that were retrieved as a distraction and got relatively close to a pair of twins.

These two kiddos were DNA tested to find the parents and it turns out they’re edgeshot’s! (Kamui figured this since he thought they looked like him.)

This made him happy and a bit sad. Happy because edgeshot (while alive) mentioned that he always wanted a daughter and that a little bit of him still lives on but sad because edgeshot wouldn’t be able to raise them or even meet them. 

Along with the twins there was another kid that 4 that was also edgeshot’s but he had a few mixed feelings about her.

This kid was not only edgeshot’s but also Mt. lady’s. He understood that the people who “had” these kids didn’t have a choice to do this and that it would’ve been before they were even dating but he still felt a bit off about it. (This was the only kid Mt. Lady had as of this point; low fertility came through here lol.)

Due to the hospital running out of room they asked family and friends of the parents that couldn’t take care of them for whatever reason if they could foster them to free up space.

Edgeshot’s Dad and Kamui ended up sharing custody of the three kids. E’s Dad mostly had the 4 year old and Kamui the twins.

The eldest daughter’s name is Tsumugi and the twins Katsumi and Rini. 

About a month after Mt. Lady’s disappearance she is found which makes kamui obviously  very happy :D 

He wouldn’t let go of her for the first few days; always had a lil branch at least wrapped around her finger. <3333

She was a bit taken aback by the kids especially her own but she came around rather quickly

They’re all a happy little foster family now :)

Extra info:

No one knows exactly how he got his quirk but it is assumed to be genetic

Overall not much is known about his early childhood due to him being found badly injured in a forest around elementary age and him remembering barely anything about it (which could be due to the injury.) 

His childhood and early adulthood after that was pretty rough though; made into a documentary. He didn’t really care that it was documented but he would’ve rather it not, especially since he was forced to lie on certain parts to not make the QPF and PSC look bad.

Worked on a team with Edgeshot and Mt. Lady and was kinda the “baby” of the group (despite being the second oldest)

Edgeshot helped Kamui out a lot with handling his emotion/feelings, trauma,  and how to in general live with autism.
