yeah one of my concerns for eternal faith is that the director will encourage the actor who pays xl to overact because I think that’s what happened in cql which is how we got some very awkward and stiff scenes that are meant to be humorous but fall completely flat because 1. it’s not really a funny situation and 2. the acting is rly unnatural

#im thinking specifically in ep1 as mxy persona and the dog chasing scene in 33 #maybe it was xz's choice to play it like that but they're both so different from the rest of his performance #I mean he did overact his shocked expression in the lake scene so maybe he just does it sometimes too #but with 33 I rly think it was the director #either way. meme of the girls at the party glaring into the camera in disgust #genuinely bad scenes imo. esp the 33 one. his phobia shouldn't be a joke! it never was in the book iirc and it sucked to see #which is why I think it was the director pushing that performance. the music lines up it was meant to be comedic #but it was just rly awkward and embarrasing to watch #cor.txt
