“She meant it as a compliment, Obi-Wan knew. Siri admired Anakin’s daring, his sureness, how fluidly he used the Force. It was unusual for Siri to second-guess a decision, just like Anakin. In some ways, Obi-Wan was more like Ferus.”
-- Jedi Quest: The Changing of the Guard
“He knew Obi-Wan hadn't wanted him to leave. If he'd been Obi-Wan's Padawan, it would have all been different. Everything would have been different.”
-- The Last of the Jedi: Dark Warning
so does anyone else ever think about these two quotes, and think about the way that in some aspects Siri would have been a more effective Master for Anakin, but that Obi-Wan would absolutely have not been what Ferus needed in a Master, and then cry about it? just me? yeah probably.
