so does anyone else ever think about these two quotes, and think about the way that in some aspects Siri would have been a more effective Master for Anakin, but that Obi-Wan would absolutely have not been what Ferus needed in a Master, and then cry about it? just me? yeah probably.

#as they were both of these pairings ended badly. but if they'd been switched I also don't think they'd have been wholly successful #I think that while siri would have been a lot more intuitive to anakin's separation trauma and she'd have been able to explain attachment #a lot better and gotten him to understand that feelings =/= bad/wrong... anakin's impulsiveness would have fueled hers instead of holding #her in check the way ferus's temperament did and she'd have kicked the bucket sooner which would have been really bad for anakin. #and while obi-wan would have relished ferus's stiff by-the-books nature he wouldn't have pushed ferus to grow beyond that and even though #the canonical circumstances of ferus's resignation are horrible and traumatic for him ferus really *needed* to leave in order to fully grow #into himself and if he's been obi-wan's padawan he probably wouldn't have felt able to leave (even if the circumstances had been the same) #and in the long run that would have been really detrimental to him. #anyhoo that's my random thought for the night #ooc #idek how to tag anything anymore
