#I’m 100% joking btw #my ancestry dna DOES say 5% Swedish (and danish) #but I don’t actually claim to have any connection to the country #I’m literally 95% welsh. english (eughhh). scottish or irish #i was so mad when I got the results first time #look I wasn’t expecting much right #everyone I’ve ever known in my family has been from wales #and im the whitest of white #so I wasn’t expecting any African surprise or a slither of Asian #but being 100% (!!!) British or Irish just hurt me #and then like 6 months they said ‘5% Swedish or danish. take it or leave it’ and updated the chart #for some reason the Irish (my dads Nan) is lower than the Scottish (literally nobody in my family knows about any Scottish relations) #so idk what’s going on with that #anyway they keep dropping the English % now #they USED to keep raising it #at one point it said I was more english than welsh and I was mortified
