I really do think one of my best developments over the years in my characterizations and presentations of character dynamics and relationships is Chazz and Alexis evolving into having an almost brother/sister relationship to the point where in the majority of my fics and even spilling over into thoughts about my GX rewrites, she is fully and equally as willing to protect and throw herself to the wolves for Chazz as she is for Atticus if a situation presents itself where she feels the desire or the need to do so.
