THINKING ABT THE EVIL QUEEN AND THE GOOD KING ….. did they ever love each other … did they meet at ever after high … did they know they were destined for each other but didn’t talk abt it. to each other or anyone else. did they spend the first few years of their marriage in a mostly-empty castle speaking little to no words to each other. and when raven was born, did it change things? did they both love her enough that they sort of came to love each other, too? with neither of them really wanting to? the evil queen still thinks the good king is weak and cowardly. but he makes raven laugh. the good king still thinks the evil queen is vicious and cruel, but she protects raven like no one else. the world hates their little family—if it can even be called that— and for one tiny kid, truly too small to know her destiny, all they have is each other. when the good king tells raven she can’t touch the mirror and let her mother escape, was it a warning out of fear, or a warning from someone who’s come close to it ? the good king thinks, raven will be of age soon. do you want to watch her burn the world down? or will you save her from the rubble? and he knows the answer. he does. but he wishes it wasn’t so.
