hey! :D I was wondering if you would be willing to write some headcanons for Ian Malcolm x Environmental Scientist reader? If not, just any Ian Malcolm x reader. Thank you!

Anon i absolutely can ! (Ps: i may have done way too much research for this on the Chaos theory and Climate/Environmental Sciences) I desperately hope you love this !

Warnings: None Really but let me know if there is something

First of all let me just explain that chaos theory is very prominent in your line of work so you do know it well and that is, for the most part, the reason John Hammond’s lawyer brought you to this island 

Your published essays were on Zebra Mussels invading the Great lake along with other such examples of invasive species and Human impact on the earth within the last century 

Needless to say you were what many would call a hippy 

At first of course Ian would be flirting wih you up and down like he does with Ellie  (way to make you feel special lmao) but the moment he tries to pull out the chaos theory card with you while in the main building and you stop him because you also know everything there is about the theory he is absolutely shook

Now no offense to Ellie but his eyes are all on you 

This man hardly knows you but he will and does defend with his life even though he knows you can take care of yourself

He will call you baby if you are okay with and as your relationship progresses he will start calling you his baby 

Off island he is a sucker for coffee dates where you guys just sit and work enjoy the presence of each other 

If you’re a plant parent he will help you name the plants, help tend to them, and even buy you some supplies for the babies every once and a while. One time you even caught him talking to his favorite plant after you told him it helps them thrive 

Though he doesn’t dress like it he loves to take you on walks through forests/on trails 

He will act as dramatic as possible if a bug gets near him, please bring spray so he doesn’t get bit or stung 

Slowly he’ll also introduce you to his daughter and let’s just say you two got along way better than he could’ve ever thought possible 

He’s a little jealous 

Not really it actually makes him adore you even more 

He gives you signed editions of his books and you get special dedication in his newer ones because you really did impact the way he thought about life and that stupid chaos theory
