Championnat du Monde de motocross 2023 à Villars-sous-Écot
La septième manche du Championnat du Monde FIM de Motocross est le MXGP de France, et il sera de retour cette année à Villars-sous-Ecot, dans le Pays de Montbéliard. Six ans après la dernière manche du Mondial 2017, les coureurs découvriront les samedi 20 et dimanche 21 mai 2023 un nouveau tracé qui a été présenté cette semaine aux médias locaux, partenaires et autorités politiques.
La France a toujours organisé une manche du Championnat du Monde de Motocross, et depuis vingt ans maintenant le MXGP de France est principalement organisé sur trois sites : Ernée, Saint Jean d'Angely et Villars-sous-Ecot. Créé en 1968 par Jean Pierre Mougin le club de Villars a une longue histoire puisqu'il a reçu son premier GP en 1982 ; depuis lors il a organisé six autres GP et le Motocross des Nations 1988. Après deux éditions réussies du Championnat de France Elite en 2021 et 2022, le club a souhaité accueillir à nouveau une manche du Championnat du Monde, qui a été présentée au siège de Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération
"Merci à Infront, à la FIM et à la FFM qui ont pris en considération notre demande", déclare en ouverture le président Luc Pellier, membre du club depuis de nombreuses années. "Nous avons 50 % de nouveaux membres dans le comité directeur du club, et la plupart d'entre nous souhaitaient organiser à nouveau un GP ; c'était super d'organiser le Championnat de France deux années de suite, c'était une bonne occasion pour nous de nous préparer pour ce GP", poursuit Luc Pellier avant d’expliquer les principales nouveautés par rapport au dernier Grand Prix organisé en 2017. "Grâce au soutien du Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération, de la Région Bourgogne Franche Comté et du Département du Doubs, nous avons modifié le circuit pour offrir un tracé nouveau et moderne aux pilotes. Nous avons travaillé avec l’équipe de Jean Luc Fouchet, ramené de la terre, modifié le virage du départ et remanié 80% du tracé. Et afin de faciliter la couverture de l'événement, la fibre optique est désormais opérationnelle sur le circuit".
Président de PMA Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération, Charles Demouge a confirmé le soutien de la communauté d’agglomération : "Nous sommes heureux de soutenir le club de Villars, dont le savoir faire en matière d’organisation est reconnu ! Je sais que pour organiser une telle compétition il y a d’énormes travaux à mener, et dans la mesure ou ce Grand Prix de France sera l’évènement sportif de l’année dans le Pays de Montbéliard, nous avons décidé d’aider le club avec une subvention répartir pour moitié au fonctionnement et pour moitié à l’investissement car je sais que le club a entrepris de gros travaux pour ce Grand Prix. Nous avons également participé avec le département du Doubs à l’arrivée de la fibre optique sur le site, afin que l’épreuve bénéficie d’une excellente couverture médiatique. Nous sommes convaincus que l’épreuve sera un succès populaire, comme toujours".
Pour David Luongo, PDG d'Infront Moto Racing, revenir à Villars-sous-Ecot est une excellente nouvelle : "La France est un pays de passionnés de motocross, et nous avons un accord avec la Fédération française pour organiser chaque année un GP sur différentes pistes. C'est un plaisir de revenir à Villars sous Ecot qui fait partie de la longue histoire du motocross français. Villars bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal à proximité de l'Allemagne, de la Suisse et de la Belgique, et nous sommes sûrs que de nombreux fans viendront de toute l'Europe pour ce GP. Bien sûr pour recevoir un GP il faut investir beaucoup d'énergie et d'argent pour accueillir dans de bonnes conditions les fans, les concurrents et les médias et je tiens à remercier les autorités politiques pour leur soutien. Nous savons tous que le Grand Prix offrira une grande couverture médiatique à la région, au département et à l'agglomération, et nous savons qu'il apportera des retombées économiques importantes".
Président de la Ligue motocycliste de Franche Comté, Christian Goux représentait Sébastien Poirier président de la FFM : "En tant que président de ligue je ne peux qu’être satisfait d’avoir un Grand Prix sur ses terres, c’est un événement exceptionnel. Le président de la Fédération qui sera à Villars les 20 et 21 Mai tient à souligner que sur les 1200 clubs que compte la FFM seuls quatre sont susceptibles d’accueillir une telle épreuve, dont Villars sous Ecot. Il veut également souligner la relation de confiance qui existe entre Infront et la FFM, et dont bénéficie les clubs organisateurs de GP, et il ne doute pas de la réussite du prochain GP de France ou la Marseillaise pourrait résonner. Merci aux collectivités qui accompagnent le club au niveau du financement des infrastructures nécessaires pour cette épreuve, et dans la promotion de la manifestation".
Représentant la région Bourgogne Franche Comté, Matthieu Guinebert a tenu à saluer la combativité du club de Villars : "La région que je représente ce soir tenait à apporter tout son soutien et notre amitié au Motoclub, et confirmer notre aide pour ce Grand Prix. La région est présente aux côtés du club et le restera, le club de Villars véhiculant des valeurs qui nous sont chères, que ce soit la fraternité ou la combativité et si un prix de la combativité devait être décerné le MCV serait bien placé. Ce club permet de faire rayonner nos collectivités, dont la région ; je tiens à féliciter tous les membres du club, son comité directeur comme les bénévoles sans qui rien ne serait possible".
Pour Jean Luc Guyon Vice-Président du Conseil départemental du Doubs, le succès du club de Villars n’est pas surprenant : "Le motocross est l’un des cinq sports qui a une longue histoire dans le département, et on se rend compte à chaque fois que l’on va assister à une épreuve à Villars que toutes les générations sont représentées dans ce sport, que ce soit chez les spectateurs, les bénévoles, voire les pilotes ! Ce mélange des générations est une richesse, et on vous remercie de faire également de la formation des jeunes car le département est très attaché à toutes ces valeurs. Merci à tous et bravo pour tout le travail effectué".
Le mot de la fin est revenu à Christian Hirsch, maire de la commune de Villars-sous-Ecot qui va une fois de plus accueillir des dizaines de milliers de spectateurs : "Petite commune de 360 habitants, Villars sous Ecot a vu sa notoriété grandir grâce au Moto Club, et nous sommes fiers de recevoir de nouveau une épreuve du championnat du Monde qui va mettre notre commune, le département, la région et PMA au premier rang du sport motocycliste. L’engagement du président Luc Pellier, de son équipe dirigeante et de tous ses bénévoles nous permet d’accueillir une nouvelle fois une épreuve de haut niveau sur le terrain de la Versenne. Nos collectivités sont sensibles à l’énorme travail du club, qui permet à notre jeunesse de pratiquer le sport moto en sécurité, et de s’y former au sein de l’école de pilotage dans le respect des uns et des autres".

Until I am at the stage where I am able to push for 30 minutes plus two laps in tough conditions during practice then it will not make sense to race. There is not a specific date for when I will return to racing at the moment. I’ve recently returned to riding which has been great and I will continue to take things step-by-step. Since my crash I had to start from zero and rebuild my physical conditioning, so it has been a long road, but I am getting stronger and fitter and I am really happy with my progress. For sure there are a lot of talented riders in the class and it won’t be easy, but I am ready for the challenge and I’m really looking forward to round one.”Īrminas Jasikonis – Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing: “My recovery from my accident has been going really well. It will be my first year in MXGP, but I believe I can battle inside the top 5. With the team we’ve made some good progress in recent weeks. TURISIAN.com - Dua pembalap Indonesia, Ananda Rigi Aditya dan Diva Ismayana bakal tampil dalam laga seri MXGP of Indonesia di Rocket Motor Circuit MXGP Samota-Sumbawa, 25-26 Juni.
Dalam entry list terbaru yang dirilis Infront Moto Racing, Rabu 22 Juni 2022, keduanya bakal tampil menggunakan fasilitas wildcard pada kelas MX2.
Bersama dengan pebalap Merah Putih lainnya yakni Muhammad Delvintor Alfarizi.
Dengan demikian, secara keseluruhan Indonesia memiliki empat wakil dalam seri Kejuaraan Dunia Motorcross 2022 tersebut.
Satu nama lainnya adalah Farhan Hendra Fahrodjie yang bersaing di kelas utama.

Untuk kelas utama, Farhan Hendra akan bersaing dengan 20 nama pebalap kelas dunia seperti, Tim Gajser (Slovenia), Jeremi Seewer (Swiss), Jorge Prado (Spanyol), dan yang lainnya.
Sebelumnya, Official National Promoter MXGP of Indonesia, Happy Harinto, mengungkapkan pebalap yang mendapat wildcard untuk tampil di seri Kejuaraan Dunia Motocross 2022 telah memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan.

Pebalap Indonesia yang tampil di MXGP Samota-Sumbawa memang memiliki pengalaman. Sebelumnya mereka juga pernah tampil di seri MXGP yang bergulir di Tanah Air.
Diva Ismayana pernah turun pada kelas MX2 di Semarang dan Pangkal Pinang pada 2018. Kemudian berlanjut pada 2019 di Semarang. Pun demikian dengan Delvintor dan Farhan Hendra. Sementara Ananda Rigi bakal debut di MXGP Samota-Sumbawa.
