Hungry? 😋 food for the soul. A simple, and delicious sandwich from @americanitaliandeli! This might be heavy read for a Monday, but I was moved eating a sandwich🥰. My first love at 9 years old💗... after the concentration camp in Bosnia my family and I arrived to a refugee camp in Slovenia, an old army base. Due to world politics at the time... Italians were the first people (aid) to come to the refugee camp and give us hope, and love! Italian was the first foreign language I learned and for the first time after the horror, I felt there is hope! Since then... I have been blessed to live and love many different cultures around the world. Many of those world cultures are right here in the #sfbayarea, #siliconvalley. I always feel the same joy when I visit Italy, when I hear Italian, when I meet Italians, when I see the Italian flag, when I hear @ramazzotti_eros , @zuccherosugar and many other talents. Italian fashion, food, art, culture!
