Dr. Jack Bright : No, not that. I don’t want to be immortal anymore.

Y/N : Uhh Huh? You told me that almost everyday?

Dr. Jack Bright : You mentioned about working on a project involving scp—963, right?

Y/N, sighs : Well, the machine is built. But are you sure you want to do this?

Dr. Jack Bright : I'm sure. Some bad things happened to me when I was little. Way before I became like this, I was just a messed-up kid. Now it's something-centuries later, and I'm still messed up. I don't want to spend eternity like this, with this emptiness. I want to grow old.

Dr. Jack Bright : I know it’s impossible to break it but it’s worth the shot, right? Not like I’ll lose anything else.

Y/N : Other than your current body? Yeah not much, if you don’t want to count your siblings—

Dr. Jack Bright, interrupts : Can we start now?

Y/N : ..okay, let’s do this. This means that someday you’ll die, like permanently.

Dr. Jack Bright : I guess if I die, hopefully I’m not coming back Huh?

Y/N, hands on his shoulders : Jack I'm so very, very, very excited to test my new project out on you.
