Name any three things about the rpc that bother you.
the be honest meme
1. the normalisation of those guilt trippy posts ....... which are like ‘if you don’t interact with this post you think im a terrible person no questions asked’. like “I hate myself because I’m a terrible human being therefore you should drop everything to make me feel better or else yoU AGREE WITH ME >:(” I once was on Tinder (don’t recommend) and I matched with some guy who was like, “i’ll save you time, you don’t want to date me. I’m too fucked up” and i was like ok bye. i realise and appreciate this is a symptom of a mental illness. my dislike is for the normalisation of this attitude within the rpc. it is unhealthy, antisocial, and manipulative.   2. people are super all or nothing. which is fine, if that’s how they need to work for their experience on tumblr to be a positive one then all power to them and I hope they continue to work that way, but i personally myself can only put like. 20-30% of myself into tumblr on any given day. i do not write with every person i follow. i literally cannot. it’s sad, i think, that we are incongruent, but not like ‘this bothers me grrr’, just ‘this bothers me sad :(’  3. vagues VAGUES vagues!! vaGUEs vagues. including but not limited to ‘hey im not okay with [activity]’ after someone does the thing but you don’t talk to them directly you just make a psa, but also things like ‘#you know who you are’ in the tags or like. anything where you are intending that other person to see it and react to it, but you are avoiding speaking to them directly. we’re all adults here. my mother was abusive & actively discouraged good communication skills and so! I have learnt them on my own and I am easily frustrated with people who do not just say the things they mean. It is a line in the sand for me. I am not psychic and I refuse to play guessing games, speak to me properly or leave~
