The Sign ep 5 and YES - he was in cahoots. Knew it. I was kinda hoping the vile rapist would at least have his dick chopped off before he was rescued but hey, you can't always get what you want. Absolutely terrible investigation though - they found the scene of the crime(s) ages ago then didn't bother to go back and search it. Tut. Shao Fei would never - even if he had to crawl through the still smoking embers of the building.

We got a nice wet towel bath (which is the obvious post-stabbing treatment) and a sex scene fake out - Phaya's thirst is evident and building... the whole bed/bolster scene at the end of ep 5 managed to be both sexy and wholesomely sweet.

The Khem and Thongthai background was cute - I particularly liked Khem clapping like a seal on the bed (it did make me check on MDL to see if Cheewin had directed any of this though).

I'm amazed as I'm watching that I'm actually relatively unspoiled. I mean, I know that the end game is Phaya and Tharn and the doc is the bad guy, and I know there's a whole naga & garuda myth playing out but I don't know the details so I'm fairly clueless. Babe does look rather beautiful as a nagini though.

Also, my dear Phaya, try using your words rather than just dragging Tharn away from his friend* and demanding he leave with you. It would work a lot better.

*yes I know he's not really a friend but you know what I mean...
