I loved Cookie Run for near 5 years; I dedicated a large portion of my time to it and it was my main interest for years. But Ovenbreak has gotten so hostile, repetitive and just generally unpalatable to me that I haven't played it properly in a year and the last time I opened it was in September. I don't care about any new cookies, events, or anything that is released. It's crazy how I used to play it everyday for hours and would be desperate to find ways to keep playing it when I did everything and was bored, and now I can be bored out of my wits and still not even consider playing it.

I don't know what I expected from a gacha game in terms pushing purchases, but you'd think the game would have any appeal remaining. I still have favorite cookies but they aren't enough to make me want to play it again, I don't even think giving them an event would do it for me because Roguefort was in an event earlier this year and I didn't open the app at all.

It's crazy sad how a corporation can sap any love you had for something and drain you.
