Preparation method

1. Oxidation method

3. Acrylic acid carbonyl synthesis method
Acrylic acid and carbon monoxide in the presence of a catalyst to produce butanedioic acid. Not yet industrialized.
4. Electrolytic oxidation method
Phthalic anhydride and sulfuric acid and water in the ratio of 1:0.5:4, electrolysis in a ceramic electrolyzer, can be obtained butanedioic acid. 5. Acetylene method

Effects on immune function: Succinic acid was dissolved in saline and pH adjusted to 6.4 by adding NaHCO3 at a concentration of 11.8%. 1mM (118mg)/kg, 2.5mM (295mg)/kg and 5mM (590mg)/kg were injected intraperitoneally into rats and rabbits daily for 7d, once daily. 0.025), but the increase in phagocytosis was not significant.
