Regalecusmon is a treasure hunter, he loves to go swimming and dive and retrieve things from the depths of the ocean. He would love to take his S/O with him, but they always seemed uncomfortable around the waters. He didn't want to pry... maybe they just didn't like to swim in the ocean. He'd always bring them something small, be it pearls or sea glass, anything he can find.

When his S/O finally told him what was wrong and why they always turned him down whenever he suggested they go swimming together, he's a bit shocked to hear. He can't blame them for being traumatized by such a thing to the point they refuse to go swimming again... but it's the fact they want to re-learn it that he perks right back up and assures that he will do his best to help his S/O.

Regalecusmon is gentle with it, surprisingly enough. Taking his S/O to the beach, but only to where they're comfortable with. He stays by their side the entire time, offering his hand for them to hold to keep themself grounded. He takes it slowly, as much as he'd love to take hold of his S/O and just dive into the water with them right away... but he had to be patient.

It's little steps every week, standing in the shallows with just their feet touching the water, or just sitting in the surf and seeing if their anxiety spikes over the fear and trauma that drowning had brought up. He's quick to remove them if it does and tells them they did an amazing job. Baby steps, baby steps. They'll get there, and he reassures his Tamer about it, too. He'll be right there, and he would never let them drown.

The Digimon tends to talk to his S/O during the entire time as he slowly leads them deeper and deeper through those months of gently encouraging them, along with their own bravery in trying to get back into swimming. He's right there, he'll always be right there, his hand is holding his S/O's to ensure them about it Nothing will hurt them while he's there, too.

Regalecusmon is so proud of his S/O when they finally take the dive with him and start to swim. He still keeps a hold on them, pulling them close as he celebrates with them and nuzzles his head against their neck. It took time, but look at them now! Regalecusmon can't wait to be able to dive with his S/O so that they can both look for lost trinkets and other little things to share together. He keeps his promise and never strays too far from them, his swimming speed so fast that his S/O would never have a chance to even run out of air for he'd be right there to swim them right up.

Regalecusmon didn't expect to come upon a human deep in the water. They didn't seem to have any breathing equipment, and from the look of them, they were just on the brink of passing out and were too tired to swim up to the surface. He was quick to grab them and take them up to get air.

He didn't quite know why he did it. He made a split-second decision, seeing a human that was in a predicament he could have quickly solved for them. And so, he did. He even swam them to the shore as they had seemed to cramp up when they swam far too out into the water, and Regalecusmon wasn't going to let this human just drown all over again after he went out of his way to save them!

He stayed beside them to make sure they were alright. After he was sure they were settled and were alright, he left their side to go back to his treasure hunting. Though... he did think back to that human every now and again. And it seemed that the human couldn't stop thinking about the interesting fishman that had saved their life as they kept coming back to the beach he left them on.

Soon enough, the two began to talk with one another. A bit awkward at first, as Regalecusmon isn't quite the Digimon who likes to interact with others... but he was trying his best when it came to the human he couldn't stop thinking about.

He went swimming by their side, making sure they didn't cramp up again with how close he stayed by their side. He showed them the best spots with amazing underwater views, and especially places that had the best treasure hunting and "fishing" he could get.

It was when Regalecusmon began to present some of his treasure to the human that it was clear he was trying to court them in his own way. When they did accept it all - accepting him and everything he had to offer - he grew fairly overjoyed. Who would have thought that a chance little saving-from-drowning would lead to such a love?

Regalecusmon is a Digimon that enjoys taking things from others; their food, their treasure. Anything he can, it's the pirate data in him in a way. And as of such, he likes to roleplay or have a bit of primal play, of his dear S/O being his 'prey' or him "taking" them from another to be his.

Because of his preference, he prefers to have such play near water. The ocean or a lake or river, whichever is good enough for him as he "stalks" his S/O from the waves. But if they're not close to water, that's alright, he can figure out some way to "hunt them down" to get in the mood should they also be down for such things.

There are also nights he likes to be soft, holding his S/O close to him as he thrusts up into them while they lay on his stomach as they float down a river. He's careful with holding them, able to keep them afloat and making sure they don't feel like they'll drown. He has them, they just need to trust him.

But he's not all that. Draping his S/O in the treasure he had found and laying them out on a bed in nothing but those treasures get him easily going. His precious little human looking so fancy in such things, and like a meal designed for him... he can't help but dive in and kiss their body before he gets to the fun of eating them out/using his tongue on them to prep them for his cock.

Regalecusmon is a biter -- he enjoys marking up his S/O when he gets in the mood. He much prefers to take his S/O from behind when on land, gripping their hips as he bites into them like he's a shark as he gets rougher with them. Thrusting harshly into him with his ripped cock, trying to keep himself in mind instead of letting himself go loose from the scent of their blood.

Regalecusmon makes sure that he didn't bite too deeply into his S/O, softly going over their wounds and making sure that they're alright and feel well. He'll be sure to be gentle next time, especially if they ask him to since he doesn't want them to feel like he's only taking his own ways in pleasure.. He snuggles up with them afterwards, holding them in his arms as he licks their neck more before nuzzling up into them.

Regalecusmon can and will bring any treasure he finds back to his S/O. Being a Digimon that spends most his time in the water, deep down in dark of the oceans, he searches for anything to bring back tohis S/O while he hunts. He loves to present it to them after he makes sure he cleaned it and that it doesn't look too damaged. Only the best for his S/O when it comes to sunken treasure!

He also can and will bring his S/O fish and anything large he hunted and present it to them. He thinks that it's romantic to show that he killed something bigger than him (usually Digimon) in their name, and he gets quite proud of himself when they offer a moment of praise, or just them reacting to his hunt that he did for them.

Aside from his treasure hunting and... actual hunting, he loves to swim with his S/O! He gently takes their hand and lays them on his stomach as he floats along down a river, or along in the ocean on calm days. He likes the quiet of just him and his S/O, as he holds their hand with one of his and he tells them stories, or he listens to them talk about their day. It's simply an enjoyable moment for the two, nothing but the sound of waves or nature around them.

Regalecusmon hates crowds or anything that feels too suffocating in general, so he usually finds the best places he and his S/O can enjoy time together without being disturbed. He enjoys spending time with them, but if they want to bring a few friends along... he supposes he can allow it, though not too many!

He isn't slimy, despite what one may think. He feels fairly smooth and more akin to a human. He smells of salt water mostly, but that smell can be replaced if he swims around in a river or lake -- holding a more "nature" smell (like trees/grass when it rains) if his partner doesn't quite enjoy the scent of salt water. He can't help it, being what he is and the fact that the water is his home. At least he doesn't smell like fish constantly!

Regalecusmon is a simple Digimon really, for a pirate and a top tier predator. He loves the waves, and he loves to bring his S/O with him while he swims. If there's one thing for sure, he'll never let them drown! He's always watching them, acting as their own personal lifeguard if they're out together! He loves to cuddle up to them after they swim, bonking his head ever so gently against theirs as he nuzzles into them.
