Reohio Tradescantia | Green Ozean
Synonyms: Ephemerum bicolor, Tradescantia discolor, Tradescantia versicolor, Rhoeo spathacea, Rhoeo discolor, Spiderwort, Boat Lily. Rhoeo is a common border or edging plant in tropical or subtropical gardens. It's tough and adaptable, suitable for full sun or part shade, across a range of soil types.Rhoeo 'Tricolor' prefers full or partial sun in a moist, well-drained location. Provide afternoon shade or dappled shade in very hot climates. If the soil is sandy or a heavy clay, dig in 3 to 4 inches of compost and well-decomposed manure to a depth of 8 to 12 inches.Once a Moses in the Cradle reaches its maximum size, it'll simply continue replacing its leaves and start making new shoots. This can make the plant leggy, so many people choose to take cuttings and start new plants at that point.
