#SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL IN THIS PANEL ♥o♥

Thoughts/rants on Sandman ep. 4 below the cut ... ^^

- Hell looked pretty cool! A little generic still - they are really stripping away most of the bizarre and weird shit from the comics. But they did use some panels from the comic quite directly, and brought them to life, which looked very cool. And some scenes were even better than the comic :O

- Gwendoline Christie ♥♥♥

- Why would they change it and have Lucifer fight Dream, instead of Choronzon himself, which would have been more to be expected :/ To make it more “dramatic”? :/

- The end of their fight was really corny lmao :/ :/ :/ With all the foreshadowing in the episode itself (especially the added dialogue with Nada) and not least the title of the episode, there was really no need to drag it out so dramatically ...

- Matthew deserves better than being a cute comic relief pep talking mascot ;(

- Choronzon was pretty hot though :3

- With all the CGI, they should have been able to CGI Mazikeen’s head to be half blown off like in the original? At least the side of her mouth is an open wound, so I still live in hopes to see the epic French kiss ^^ WITH GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE, AT THAT♥♥♥

- I do appreciate that she was included in this sequence when she wasn’t yet in the original ♥ And Cassie Clare is amazing ♥

- Nada looked so beautiful, clean and peaceful for someone in hell since 10,000 years ... She deserves mercy by all means, which is, however, the whole point of her suffering in the story. :/ Seriously, the extreme level of conventional beauty and “looking normal” of all these characters ...

- I guess they wanted to make sure we know what a fucking douche Dream is by revealing the reason he sent Nada to hell already here ^^ 

- When I saw they changed Rosemary to a Black woman with a Rottweiler, I swore to dog, if anything happened to either of them ... I’m actually glad their fate was different from the comic. But are they trying to make John Dee a nicer person who has actual moral values? I’d prefer if it was just meant as him operating completely unpredictably and chaotically, and randomly gifting an extremely powerful object to her because he just didn’t need it anymore ...

I’d hope that the show, while being so ‘meh’, will inspire lots of new people to read the comics, at least! And I guess even for people who liked the show and might be surprised by the comics being so different, they have a good chance of coming to appreciate the comics. Because they are just so good ^^

‘a ghost on the roof’ livewatch

the relaunch of ‘ghost on the roof’ is FINALLY here!!!! there are 3 eps out, but i’ll be reading the first two since it’s a 2 parter. i’ve done a webtoon livewatch before and now it’s time to do it again! will this new version of ‘ghost’ be better than the original? let’s find out! :D

that’s a perfect ending to the two parter! and this was a perfect start to the new ‘ghost on the roof’! it’s a fantastic story so far with amazing lighting and lots of mystery! i’m off to read ep 3... and i’ll eagerly await the adventure ahead! ;)
