Seashell Trolls Ficlet 1: Escaped

Summary: #58 and #10 have just escaped and their empty cells were found by one of the guards who went and informed Queen Urbosa. Let's just say she wasn't happy, not at all

Anyway onto the ficlet!

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE GONE?!"

Leech flinched at the furious roar Queen Urbosa gave and bowed his head nervously, shaking a bit

"I-I mean when I went on my usual checkup routine they weren't there! They must have escaped when I finished my first checkup. T-the only thing that was left was this letter from #58 addressed to you my queen" He held put a wrinkled piece of seaweed that had dome writing on it

Urbosa's expression hardened "What does it say?"

Leech stuttered and rapidly shook his head "Uh I-I-I don't think reading it outloud would be wise my que-"

Leech yelped as Urbosa leaned forward until she was inches away from his face, her angry expression making him freeze

"READ. IT."

Leech gulped and shakily held the letter up and started reading "It just says,"

'Haha

Kiss my ass Urbosa!

Also I'm taking my name back and so is Mikayla

A loud growl echoed throughout the room and Leech shook in terror. Shakily he turned to his queen only to quickly back away when Urbosa slammed her left claw on the ground in front of him in frustration.

"THAT LITTLE SHRIMP! HOW DARE THEY MOCK THEIR QUEEN" Urbosa raged before whirling on Leech, causing him to jump and wimper

"I thought you said you would be able to keep TRACK of those filthy prisoners! Were you lying to me Leech?"

"N-NO NO! My queen I would never! It's just....they left during a time where I wasnt there is all! I had just finished checkup at that area and things were fine! That-that must've been when they escaped!" Leech let out a small scream as Urbosa picked him up and shook him violently.

Leech groaned and stared up dazed at Urbosa as she glared hard at him. Scoffing in disgust she threw him down and looked off to the side in thought.

Leech yelped as his body bounced before landing on his stomach, a loud clink echoing from where his shell hit the floor. Panicked he shot up and felt his shell only to let out a quiet sigh in relief when he noticed it was cracked. He quickly turned back to Urbosa when he heard her mutter.

"I just don't understand how that pathetic shrimp got #10 to go with them! I squashed that bug's rebellious will years ago! Somehow #58 managed to break my training on him...how?"

All was silent for a moment before Leech quietly spoke up

"D...do you want us to go after them my queen?"

Urbosa let out a hum before looking off to the side in a seemingly disinterested manner

"...No. Let them go."

Leech stared at her in surprise and confusion, unable to comprehend what he just heard. Let them go?

"N-no? My queen we should hunt them now while they're still clo-"

Urbose turned a stern expression to Leech, making him stutter and stop

"Are you doubting your queen Leech?" A warning tone entered her voice, almost daring him to say yes.

"No-no ma'am! I would never doubt you its just-" Urbosa rolled her eyes and scoffed, causing Leech to stop speaking again

"Shut your pathetic mouth up and let me tell you in a manner that even you can understand." Leech lightly nodded and frowned as Urbosa turned her attention back to the wall, seeming bored once again

"It's simple, I want them to be convinced that they escaped me. I want them to feel safe and content in their little lives, so that way when I come in I can crush it." She let out a nasty laugh, while Leech's eyes widened in shock and fear. Urbosa clenched her claws.

"I want to crush their hope into tiny little pieces in front of everyone beause that seems to be the only way you miserable little shits seem to understand that I'm the one in power. It certainly worked for #10 all those years ago after all" She smirked, before it quickly became a scowl

"Of course that's before that little bitch #58 came around and DESTORYED ALL THOSE YEARS OF BREAKING I DID TO HIM." She glared off to the side

"So quickly too, curse them!"

Leech reeled back and stared at her shocked, a hint of fear in his eyes, as her speech slowly become screams of anger

"WHEN WILL YOU FOOLS UNDERSTAND THAT I AM YOUR RULER. YOU LISTEN TO ME. I AM THE ONE GIVING YOU PATHETIC CREATURES SAFETY. I'm the only thing standing between you and all those hungry predators out there. Sharks, Crabs, other Lobsters, all just waiting to eat you all. If it wasn't for me you would have been dead a long time ago!"

She took a in a deep breath and started working to calm herself down. Leech slowly got up from the kneeling position he worked himself into while she was yelling.

After she calmed down and sent a nasty sinister smile down to Leech, who flinched and stopped himself from looking away. She didnt like that after all

"So no, don't go after them just yet. Let them be trapped in their own little happy and content bubbles. It makes it all the more easier to crush them when we find them and open their eyes to the reality that they will NEVER be free from me..."

Ok I may, just MAY have had too much fun making this lmao but there ya go! A but of story into the lives of the Seashell Trolls.

As you can Queen Urbosa is not a good queen. She abused her power and anyone who doesn't follow her rules gets put into into prison, where they stay until they are either broken, or they agree to conform back to Urbosa's ways.

That's why #58 and #10 have those colors and chain cuffs on their wrist and leg. They were prisoners who each did something to end up in prison(not gonna reveal what just yet but you'll find out soon!)
