LEOPARD ON THE PROWL by Rob Valentic - Gondwana Reptile Productions ░T░H░E░ ░T░W░I░L░I░G░H░T░ ░Z░O░N░E░ An absolute showboat of a Leopard Skink (Ctenotus pantherinus) that was spotted running across a track just after sundown on a rocky slope along the rugged Selwyn Range near Mt Isa in far western Queensland, Australia. These skinks are commonly crepuscular and even nocturnal during warm weather. Shooting his portrait in the fading light produced an image of surreal ambience, and I was so grateful for the opportunity to briefly interact with this stunning lizard. https://flic.kr/p/2o36hfW
