She had completely forgotten about the power of sarcasm and what it was capable of. Sometimes she wondered when she would end up going too far with it. Truthfully, she didn't quite feel any sort of fear at the moment and had moreso said it to remain 'in character' for this instance.

The wonders of going randomly from place to place has its disadvantages. No matter how many times she does it, she never seems to get lucky enough

It isn’t as if she came around here too often, but it was moreso the fact that she noticed something off about this ally in particular. The way girls came in, but didn’t always come back out. While she did believe humanity was at a decline, it wasn’t as if she could leave it be...

She had been expecting one, and only one, slice of cake upon ordering. But to see two, along with the note, confused her all the more. She couldn’t help but assume the idea of pity being put upon her.

Despite hating the idea, she took it. After all, this was her dinner for the night.

With a huff, she put a hand on her hip, a smile on her face. “And secondly, when there’s nothing to live for, and you have nothing better to do, why not? It allows you to contemplate which way you can kill yourself. After all, there’s many choices to make regarding it, and so many methods it does take several hours to think it over.”
