How to Find the Best Ball Valve Manufacturer
Tumblr media
If you want to build a business with the main focus on producing goods then most probably you will need to think about needs that might arise. Some of the most common products that almost every enterprise needs are valves, so finding the best Ball Valve Manufacturer and maintaining good relations will be key. You should also search for a Gate Valve Manufacturer. This will ensure a diverse range of products that should fill out every type of system you might use. Usually, the valves are made out of very durable materials so they should be long-lasting investments.
What Can a Ball Valve Manufacturer Provide
Most of the time a  ball valve manufacturer  should be able to supply all your needs for the pipes or other systems in your enterprise. You can place orders as small as just a few valves or as big a whole factory supplement. Taking materials into account should be key because those will make differences in quality, durability, and price. You should always opt for the best quality your budget can afford. This does not mean to overspend but rather to just buy the best upgrades available at the moment.
If future improvements regarding efficiency and safety become available as your budget gets bigger, do not hesitate to invest. Valves are used in somewhat dangerous environments so this matter should not be taken lightly. There have been cases in which some valves broke because of low quality, misuse or faulty installment. With all this being said, cheaper materials are not bad as a whole, only when used in places that they’re not designed for. Some of the materials that are available on the market are: • stainless steel • brass • bronze • chrome • titanium • PVC • CPVC • and others.
Another thing to keep in mind when placing an order to a ball valve manufacturer is about different fine details of the same type of valve. For example, a ball valve can be • full port – which means that the ball is over-sized and results in a lower friction loss • reduced port – this type uses the same concept but in a smaller size. Here the flow is smaller than the pipe • V port – in this case, the valve has a V-shaped ball or seat. These types of valves offer superior leakage performance and can withstand higher velocities of fluids • Cavity filler – this type has been created because sometimes residues get stuck inside the ball valve. To avoid this problem the cavity was plugged in order to always have contact with the ball • 123 or trunnion – a trunnion ball valve is suitable for working under higher pressures (above 40 bars). This is because of the additional mechanical anchoring of the ball.
Contacting a Gate Valve Manufacturer
Tumblr media
If you want to place an order to a gate valve manufacturer , first you should know a little about the product itself. A gate valve is a product extremely similar to a guillotine or a gate. In order to let the fluid flow, the barier is lifted out the way. This position is regarded as "open". One of its key characteristics is the fact that it almost does not interfere with the pressure of the fluid at all. They also occupy very little space. This type of valve is mostly used to entirely cut out the flow instead of regulating it or changing its direction as other types of valves do. Sometimes, because of high pressures, friction can be a problem. This is because the fluid will push with extreme power on the gate of the valve. Operating it at these times will be harder and require more manual strength or more motor power.
According to Wikipedia, gate valves are usually made out of: • cast iron • cast carbon steel • ductile iron • gunmetal • stainless steel • alloy steels • and forged steels.
Depending on the usage planned, other cheaper materials can be used too, although sometimes it may not be recommended. Keep in mind that every gate valve manufacturer will have some standard materials for creating the products. Choosing another type of product means that you want a custom order that can be more expensive in the long run. Think this through. Take into consideration the warranty offered also. Some tougher materials will probably have longer warranty periods than others. As a piece of general information, a warranty is a type of guarantee that the seller or a firm can promise for its product. The terms offered should be clearly discussed at the beginning of the deal so that there won’t be any surprises later on.

A Comparative Study Of Forging Know The Differences | Pahladrai Forgings
Forging is a familiar word across different industries, but what is it? And why is it so widespread than any other type of metal working? In this article we will have a comparative study between forging materials like forging copper, forged steel etc. and other metalworking processes like casting, fabrication, machine bar etc. Forging ComparedTo Casting Forging is stronger and yielded by hot and cold forgings. On the other hand, casting doesn’t have the strength against extreme heat or cold. Moreover, forgings have superior, ductile and resistant ability than cast metals. Forgings also maintain uniform quality all across the forging copper bar, wire or forged steel rings.Casted metals don’t have the grain flow as well as the directional strength. Casting cannot protect a metal from forming particular metallurgic defects. But forgings can filter the impurities from the casting slabs, casting bars etc.As the hot working on metals like copper, steel changes the grain patterns and increases strength, resistance and ductile qualities of the metal, forged metal pieces become stronger and more durable. Moreover, casting has several variations in process and is expensive. Casting requires continuous supervision while processing, but forging is cost-effective, and no process control or monitoring is required. While forging quickly responds to heat treatment, casting requires a controlled practice of melting and cooling processes to avoid any alloy separation. Due to this characteristic, finished cast metals often get varying dimensional features while forgings offer better dimensional stability due to its predictable response to heat treatment. What is more, the special casting metals require expensive materials and process control whereas the forgings are a less expensive, flexible adaption to meet the high market demand.

Forging Compared to Welding or Fabrication If forging is compared to traditional welding method or fabrication, forging helps save materials as well as entire production cost. Welded metals are costly when production is performed in large scale.  In fact, forging copper, forged steel etc. is the industrial conversion of traditional welding and metal fabrication. It saves total production costing when the volume increases. Moreover, forged metal production decreases labourcosts, scrap and continuous inspection costs. Next consideration is the strength of the final product. Forgings are stronger than welded and fabricated metals. The metal grain orientation of forged metals is improved and make the forging stronger. On the other hand, welded metals are not free from porosity and a weaker welding or joining of parts make a welded metal weak.Welding often includes fabrication of different components and assembly of the multiple parts. On the other hand, forging is usually one-piece, properly designed. Moreover, forging does not require expert supervision unlike welding and fabrication.Forged metals are more consistent throughout the product and have better metallurgic characteristics. Unlike forgings, welding may yield unwanted metallurgic features including non-uniform grain structure due to its traditional inconsistent heating and cooling processes. This inconsistent property of welded metal may lead to unexpected failure under extreme stress or impact, which is not a concern for the forged metals. While the process of welding and metal fabrication include critical joining of metals, fastening types and sizes, and close inspection of the entire process; forging offers simplified production process without close monitoring. Forging Compared to Machined Bar or Plate Metals If there is need for different sizes of copper bars or plates, copper forging is the only option to offer a variety of size and material grade. Machine bar and plates are available in certain sizes only, without much variation of sizes and metal grades, and customisation.  On the other hand, forged metal production is inexpensive, and a metal part can be as small as 1 inch in diameter while another can weigh up to 200 tonne. The grain orientation is a big plus point of forged metals. It results in optimum strength of the metal piece, resistance and ductile properties. While, the directional formation of the grains make the forged metals stronger; the machined bar and plate metals are weaker due to their non-uniform grain patterns. Moreover, forging procedure save on materials and production procedure. While the flame cutting plate causes metal wastage, different fabrication steps to produce metal rings or hubs consume excess raw material in consequential machining procedure. On the other hand, forgings generate least scrap and promote efficient production of one-piece parts. That’s why, forgings have significant cost saving opportunities in large scale production run. Another benefit of forging over the machined bar or plates is that forging rarely requires expensive secondary operations like spinning, grinding, polishing etc. However, these additional procedures are essential for most of the bars and plates to remove the surface deformities and achieve expected finishing, accurate dimensions, improved strength. Industries Where Forgings Are Ultimate There are various industries where forging is ultimate. Some of those industries include Aerospace manufacturing industry, Automotive and Truck manufacturing, Ordnance, Highway construction, Agricultural field, Valves & Fitters manufacturing etc. ·Automotive and Truck Manufacturing IndustryIn automotive and truck production and application, forged elements are usually found at points of pressure and shock. There are usually more than 250 forgings in a truck or even in cars, and most of these are manufactured from carbon or alloy steel. Forged engine and power-train components include attaching rods, cranks, gear shafts and forging gear, drive shafts, clutch hubs, differential gears, and general joint yokes and crosses. Forged camshafts, gears, pinions, rocker arms offer the security of selective setting as well as strength. Typified applications like spindle shafts and beams,  wheel axles, kingpins, torsion bars, ball studs, steering arms, idler arms, pitman arms, and linkage for passenger buses, cars, and trucks demand extra energy and durability. · Aerospace and Airbus ManufacturingFerrous and non-ferrous forging metals as well as forging gears are used in helicopters, piston-engine planes, commercial jets, supersonic military aircraft etc. The high strength and weight ratio and architectural fidelity improve performance, reach, and payload capacities of aircraft. There are numerous such aerospace designs where more than 450 structural forgings and hundreds of forged engine parts are involved. The forged parts in airbus as well in aerospace vehicles include bulkheads, wing roots and spars, engine mounts, hinges, brackets, shafts, beams, crankshafts, bell cranks, wheels, brake carriers and discs, landing-gear cylinders and struts, arresting hooks and many more components. In jet turbine engines, iron-base, nickel-base, and cobalt-base super-alloys are forged into blades, couplings, discs, rings, buckets, chambers, manifolds, wheels, beams and shafts. Stainless steels, maraging steels, titanium, and aluminium forgings find comparable treatments at lower temperatures. Forged missile elements of columbium, titanium, super-alloys, and hard materials produce unduplicated mechanical and physical features under harsh service conditions. Aluminium structural beams, titanium motor cases, nuclear-engine reactor shield, as well as the canisters of magnesium are used in the space shuttle program. ·  Highway Construction and Agricultural Tools Ferrous forgings are usually used in the highway construction business, mining industry to manufacture heavy building equipment, stronger tools, and tough, machinable and economic components. In addition to engine and transmission components, forgings are used for shafts, spindles, forging gears, sprockets, levers, rollers, yokes, ball joints, axle beams, wheel hubs, bearing holders, and linkages. · Ordnance ManufacturingPractically in every artillery instrument, from rifle triggers to nuclear submarine drive shafts, forged components are inevitable. From heavy tankers to a shell to mortar projectiles, all the equipment contains two or more forged components. ·  Valve and FittingsThe mechanical qualities of forgings and freedom from porosity are particularly suited to high-pressure applications to construct valves and fittings. Corrosion and heat-resistant metals are used for valve bodies and stems, flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, saddles, and other fitting instruments. Oil industry applications involve drilling hardware, rock cutter bits, high-pressure valves and fittingsetc. ·  Industrial Hardware, Tools, and Equipment Fixed and shipboard internal oxidisation engines include forged camshafts, crankshafts, valves, gears, rod caps, rocker arms, connecting rods, levers, linkages etc. Outboard motorcycles, motors, power saws offer examples of the perfect use of forgings in smaller engines. Motor and machination industries include forgings for material handling, conveyor, chain-hoist assembly, lift truck etc. Prevalence of Forgings – The Reasons Behind Metalworking has proved power, strength, durability, fidelity, and the best quality in a variety of products, since the earlier days of human civilization. Today, these assets of forged components imply the greater value for defining temperature, loads, and stress improvement. Forging copper, forged steel components make potential designs that provide the highest duties and pressures. Recent advancements in forging technology have considerably widened the range of means available in forging materials. Moreover, the forged products are also economically attractive due to their natural higher fidelity, enhanced tolerance capacities, and the higher productivity with which forgings can be machined and further treated by automated techniques. The degree of architectural authenticity achieved in forging copper or other metals is superior to any other metalworking methods discussed above. There are no inside gas pockets or voids, which might cause unanticipated breakdown under stress or shock. Moreover, the metal forging procedure helps in improving chemical segregation of the forging stock by influencing the centreline material to multiple locations everywhere within the forging. The fundamental probity of forgings means safety factors based on the substance that will react predictably to its conditions without special and expensive processing to improve for the intrinsic defect. Materials engineers, as well as the designers, acknowledge the growing influence of resistance to impact and burnout as a share of total element authenticity. With the use of proper materials and precise heat treatments when required, the enhanced impact energy of forged components is feasible.
Tumblr media
Moreover, the higher strength and weight ratio can be used to overcome excess section thickness in part designs without imperilling the enforcing aspects of safety. Weight cut, even in the parts that are produced from cheaper materials, can count to significant cost savings over the life of a stock run. The texture of material from one forging to the next, and between separate portions of forgings is remarkably high. Forged parts are made through a controlled series of manufacturing steps rather than a haphazard flow of material into the required shape. Evenness is another big benefit of forging over other metalworking processes. Forged components ensure reproductory response to heat treatment, least variation in machinability, and uniform property levels of the complete parts. Dimensional properties are also exceptionally durable for forging copper, forged steels or forged brass and more. Consecutive forgings are constructed from the same die impression, and because die impressions use control over every shape and form of the forged part, the probability of transfer deformity is reduced. For cryogenic reinforcements, forgings have the necessary toughness, high strength and weight ratios, and freedom from the ductile-brittle shift difficulties. Most used forged metals including forging copper, forged steel ring etc. are fabricated economically in a notably broad range of sizes. With the enhanced use of special piercing, punching, shearing, coining, and trimming practices, there have been abundant improvements in the range of cost-effective forging shapes and the workability of the revised accuracy. However, the parts having smaller holes, inner passages, re-entrant hollows, and critical draft checks usually need more complex forging tooling and more complicated processing and are consequently more reasonable in bigger sizes. In many uses, forgings are ready for use without surface finishing or machining. Forged surfaces are befitted for painting, plating, polishing, or treatment with ornamental or shielding coatings. Moreover, the freedom from the internal discontinuities or exterior formations in forgings provides a reliable machining base for metal-cutting methods such as boring, broaching, turning, milling, drilling, and shears spinning. The shaping methods like electrochemical machining, chemical milling, electrical discharge machining, and plasma jet techniques are also performed well on forged components. After all, forging components are superior to metal parts manufactured by other methods in their congeniality with other manufacturing processes. And, this is the reason why forging is prevalent.

Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon was presented this year at Baselworld. The high-tech piece uses modern design and manufacturing techniques. Its “tech” charm is doubled by a good looking appearance. The Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon has real diver watch capabilities: unidirectional diver bezel set by an external crown, Helium escape valve and crowns protection.
A skeletonised movement with tourbillon in a sports diving watch
Hands-on review Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon
I was always fascinated by the Angelus watches. U51 and its predecessor U50 made no exception. I have met the U51 Diver Tourbillon in the flesh during the Basel show. Before I share with you some watch description and specifications, please have a look at the video below.
youtube
The case: two interpretations
The high-performance sports watch look starts with the case. The case is manufactured in titanium. The size is generous – 45mm. But is was surprised by how good it looks on my small wrist and how comfortable and pleasant feels. I consider that the 12.47mm thickness helps a lot in this smaller wear sentiment.
An unusual design but extremely good looking
The case is rich in details. The diver’s case is adorned with sandblasted, brushed and polished surfaces. Considering how complicated is to get multiple finishes on titanium, Angelus gets my full respect for design and implementation.
The bezel is carved with an interesting pattern. Not sure if “pattern” is the right word in this case but certain is that the final shape reminds me of two things: the sea waves and the ratchet wheel design. So two interpretation: a romantic one – the infinite number of waves breaking at the shore and the ratcheting wheel that permits movement only in one direction – onto the future. Leaving the romanticism aside, the case design is beautiful: technical and aesthetical.
The crowns’ side of the case where the multiple finishes can be easily observable
The U51 Diver Tourbillon has two crowns. The two o’clock crown is for the unidirectional 60minutes bezel. The four o’clock crown is a classic winding and set type. Both are screwed-in, as it is mandatory for a diver watch. The crowns are decorated with the Angelus logo and have good tactile feedback.
The crowns are protected by subtle bumpers. The crown protection is smartly integrated into the over all design
On the left side of the case, at 9 o’clock, the watch is fitted with a Helium escapement valve. The U51 Diver Tourbillon is specified for 300m/1000feet depths. The valve is nicely integrated in the case design. The valve is protected by two bumpers.
The side case with visible Helium escape valve
The skeletonised lugs contribute to the watch’s lightweight. Angelus fitted the diver with a blue rubber strap decorated with an embossed Angelus logo and a titanium folding pin buckle.
The titanium pin buckle with brand’s logo
Dial: colourful and joyful, with an expected total legibility
The U51 offers an unusual diver display, with the remark that the skeletonized composition and construction is the trademark of Angelus. The brand’s language is recognisable without a doubt in the person of the U51 Diver Tourbillon.
The “face” of the U51 Diver Tourbillon
The dial is governed by several entities, each with its unique form and factor.
Another viewing angle of the dial
The chapter ring features the same spectacular carving as the bezel, recalling the waves. The unidirectional rotating ring dresses up with bright colours. The brand names them stormy blue and striking orange. Good names, I would say…
The blue and orange coloured chapter ring
The chapter ring is governed by the brand’s logo at twelve o’clock. The indexes use Arabic numeral in 5 minutes increments. In addition, there are Super-Luminova filled indexes.
The small seconds complication with orange Super-Luminova filled hand
The hands are another distinct elements in this set of entities. The hands also use bright colours Super-Luminova filling: orange for the hour hands and white for the minute hands. In low light, the dial spoils us with a special performance – excellent legibility.
A low light wristshot
As a diver watch, the U51 is provided with running seconds, mandatory to a diver watch as a witness of watch’s functionality. The small seconds sub-dial is placed at nine o’clock. The seconds’ hand is filled with orange luminescent, to signalise the “running seconds”
One-minute flying tourbillon
The last of the entities set is the one-minute flying tourbillon.
Calibre A-310 – a mechanical delight
Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon is powered by the high-tech Calibre A-310. The hand-wound movement is capable of 5 days of autonomy. The single barrel design is depleted by the tourbillon at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Or 4Hz – as it is otherwise known.
The back of the U51 reveals the other side of Calibre A-310
The tourbillon is positioned on the dial at seven o’clock. Its construction is interesting. The cage uses ball bearing for better stability. That is a more complex construction as the classical pivots system but comes with certain advantages.
Another view of the Calibre A-310
The flying tourbillon is appealing: an overall mirror polishing and bevelled edges enriched with fine polishing.
The tourbillon cage is nicely decorated
The skeletonised movement is well decorated. The bridges and the mainplate’ surfaces are sandblasted. This finish highlights the natural aspect and colour of the titanium. The movement’s gear train uses the six-spoke design exclusive to Angelus. The beauty of the Calibre A-310 can be observed on both sides of the watch.
The backside of the U51 Diver Tourbillon
Designed for perfection, entitled for admiration
I have to admit that I like Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon a lot. The watch features not only impressive technical details but also an unexpected appearance.
Tourbillon on a diver watch? Why not?!? One can enjoy a fantastic tourbillon watch daily and use it as a sporty tool piece. I do enjoy the funny, joyful glance of the U51. The colour theme fits unexpectedly well on this tourbillon watch.
U51 Diver Tourbillon is a bliss on the wrist. Extremely light for its dimension, due to titanium construction, the watch feels right on the wrist. I consider it such a special piece that breaks the canonical rules. Honestly, I would wear this piece anywhere. I would even take it, as it is, to a black-tie event. And if someone looks badly at my wrist. I will know for sure that is just envy. Pure envy!

522 kW Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
Built in Detroit at the Jefferson Avenue North Assembly Plant in Detroit Michigan and injected with an unmatched 522 kW courtesy of an awe-inspiring supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine, the most awarded SUV ever and the most capable full-size SUV on the planet has been transformed into the most powerful and quickest SUV ever.
The breakthrough supercharged engine is designed and manufactured using only the strongest and most durable materials. Its cast iron block features water jackets between the cylinders for optimal cooling. A forged-steel crankshaft with induction-hardened bearing surfaces is so strong it can withstand firing pressures of nearly 110 bar (1,600 psi) – the equivalent of five family sedans standing on each piston, every two revolutions. The unique, specially tuned crankshaft damper has been burst tested to 13,000 rpm.
High-strength, forged-alloy pistons – developed using advanced telemetry measurement – are coupled to powder-forged connecting rods with high-load-capacity bushings and diamond-like, carbon-coated piston pins.
Premium grade, heat-treated aluminum-alloy cylinder heads are optimized for superior thermal conductivity. Sodium-cooled exhaust valves feature hollow-stem construction and special steel-alloy heads that stand up to temperatures as high as 900 degrees Celsius (1,652 degrees Fahrenheit).
The 2,380cc per revolution supercharger includes integral charge-air coolers and an integrated electronic bypass valve to regulate boost pressure to a maximum of 80 kPa (11.6 psi). The twin-screw rotors are specially coated with:
a proprietary formula of polyimide and other resins
  nanometer-sized, wear-resistant particles
solid lubricants, such as PTFE (Teflon)
The coating enables tighter clearance between the rotors. This reduces internal air leakage, delivering improved compressor performance and higher efficiencies. The coating can withstand the temperatures generated by compression, and provides superior corrosion resistance.
The supercharger is sealed for life with premium synthetic oil, uses a drive ratio of 2.36:1 and has a maximum speed of 14,600 rpm. The supercharger drive system’s one-way clutch de-coupler improves refinement, while allowing for precisely the kind of powerful sound certain to captivate Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk drivers.
Air sources for the supercharger include a cold-air scoop in the lower front fascia, which replaces the driver’s-side fog lamp and helps to feed the 92mm throttle body.
The large-nosed crankshaft drives a high-flow gerotor oil pump, which feeds a lubrication circuit that includes eight high-flow piston-cooling jets. A high-capacity oil/air heat exchanger, mounted in the front of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, mitigates oil temperatures when driving conditions are harshest, such as on the track.
A new low-temperature cooling system, consisting of a pump, reservoir, heat exchanger and lines, help keep the charge air cool during performance driving. This system is designed to keep intake air temperatures below 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit), under extreme ambient conditions, while enabling air flow of up to 30,000 liters per minute.
A new fuel delivery system, featuring two high-flow, multi-mode pumps, matches the high-performance demands of the engine.
Upgraded driveline components, durability and refinement result in benchmark off-road performance
The standard TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission delivers improved shift response, quality and consistent performance and drivability. The transmission software takes into account variables such as engine torque gradients, kick-down events, longitudinal and lateral acceleration, grade changes, friction detection and downshift detection to determine the appropriate shift map.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is equipped with the Jeep Quadra-Trac on-demand four-wheel-drive system, which includes an electronic limited-slip rear differential and a single-speed active transfer case. The new, full-time active transfer case uses forged steel chain sprockets and a wider chain for added strength and durability.
A strengthened rear drive shaft connects to a new, stronger rear axle. The differential features a revised housing design, revised ring-and-pinion tooth geometry and new four-point axle mounting scheme for better load distribution, additional torque capacity and overall durability. Torque is delivered to the rear wheels via new ultra-high-strength 300M low-alloy vacuum melted steel half-shafts with upgraded eight-ball outboard constant velocity joints.
Launch Control, fitted as standard, optimizes the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s performance by coordinating the engine, transmission, driveline and suspension for a textbook launch and consistent straight-line acceleration.
A new standard Torque Reserve system provides improved engine torque response and quicker vehicle acceleration in Launch Control by pre-positioning the supercharger bypass valve to generate boost and minimize manifold filling time, while cutting fueling to individual cylinders and managing spark timing. This generates a reserve of torque that can be instantaneously delivered upon acceleration from a standing stop.
The Selec-Track system on the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk uses performance-tuned software to pre-configure and distinguish the five dynamic modes, including:  Auto, Sport, Track, Snow and Tow, enabling drivers to choose a vehicle setting that ideally meets their requirements and ambient conditions. The drive modes separately control the four-wheel-drive system, transmission, paddle shifters, suspension and the electric power steering.
Dynamic drive mode configurations include:
Auto – Automatically adapts to any condition; uses a 40-percent front/60-percent rear torque split
Sport – Transmission shift times are reduced by 50 percent versus Auto Mode; stability control, four-wheel-drive and steering systems are set for typical enthusiast driving style; paddle shifters are enabled and suspension is tightened up without increasing impact harshness to deliver increased vehicle performance capability over Auto Mode; uses 35/65 torque split
Track – Transmission shift times are reduced 68 percent versus Auto Mode to 160 milliseconds; stability control, four-wheel-drive and steering systems are set for ultimate track performance; paddle shifters are enabled and suspension is set to full firm to deliver maximum vehicle performance capability on smooth, dry surfaces; uses 30/70 torque split
Tow – Alters torque delivery off the line for greater smoothness and adjusts suspension to combat pitch and yaw to deliver maximum towing performance: uses 60/40 torque split
Snow – Maximizes traction to deliver optimized performance on snow and ice with reduced engine horsepower; uses 50/50 torque split
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk also features a Custom Mode that allows the driver to personalize the vehicle’s performance with a selectable driving experience offering a multitude of vehicle system combinations.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk rides on a short- and long-arm (SLA) independent front suspension with coil springs, Bilstein adaptive damping suspension (ADS), upper- and aluminum lower-control arms (“A” arms), aluminum knuckle, aluminum clevis and hollow stabilizer bar. The rear suspension is a multi-link design with coil spring, Bilstein ADS, aluminum lower control arm, independent upper links (tension and camber), plus a separate toe link, and a hollow stabilizer bar.

Angelus Watches prepared for Baselworld 2019 new versions of the Angelus U50 and Angelus U51. Until the reviews will be published, please have a look at the official press releases below.
Angelus reaches new chronometry achievement with U51 Diver Tourbillon 5-day power reserve
Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon
Angelus keeps with its tradition of utilizing technologically forward materials to manufacture highly complicated and aesthetically interesting timepieces. The House stretches the limit of its famous diving tourbillon movement, adding a 5-day power reserve to its list of features.
While meeting the required diver’s watch criteria, the U51 Diver Tourbillon comes with high technical features. In fact, the A-310 calibre is dedicated to efficiency, with a silicon lever escapement and with all bridges as plates made of titanium. Furthermore, Angelus’ engineers and watchmakers pushed the boundaries with a remarkable 5-day power reserve while keeping the 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) frequency, ensuring a high precision. Finally, the tourbillon cage is set on a ball bearing instead of pivots to gain in stability.
Even though the U51 Diver Tourbillon is intended as a high-performance sporty timepiece, the skeletonised movement has been carefully decorated with sandblasted finishing, enhancing the natural colour variations of the titanium.
Angelus U51 Diver Tourbillon
The 45 mm titanium case features two large screw-down crowns. The two-position crown at 4 o’clock is used for winding and setting the time, while the crown at 2 o’clock is used to rotate the unidirectional 60-minute rotating bezel. Opposite, at the 9 o’clock position, a helium escape valve is placed to ensure the watch’s water resistance of 300 meters (1,000 feet), even during saturation diving so the helium molecules could not make their way into the case under pressure.
Careful attention has been given to the aesthetic of the U51 Diver Tourbillon. The 45 mm case is masterfully manufactured with a subtle interplay between sandblasted, brushed and polished surfaces, which takes full advantage of the titanium’s unique colours properties. The bezel of the case as the chapter ring are carved, recalling waves. The open display appeals with a contrasting chapter ring of stormy blue and striking orange colours. The hands, indexes and Arabic numerals are all filled with Super-Luminova for optimal readability.
The U51 Diver Tourbillon comes on a matching blue rubber strap embossed with an Angelus logo and a titanium folding buckle.

Into the deep, dark infinite with Angelus U50 Diver Tourbillon Black Edition
Angelus U50 Black edition
After entering the scene as a diver’s watch like no other, the Angelus U50 Diver Tourbillon returns in a bold black limited edition.
The U50 Diver Tourbillon Black Edition stands out with its uniquely structured manufacture skeleton movement and dark tones. While conceived with all the properties sought in a diver’s watch, the U50 Diver Tourbillon is high-performance timepiece. With its stealthy black silhouette, this limited edition blends into any situation.
Crafted in a 46mm-wide lightweight yet robust titanium case with a black DLC treatment all over, the U50 Diver Tourbillon features two large screw-down crowns.
Angelus U50 Black edition
Instead of a solid dial, the U50 Diver Tourbillon features an open face with a dark but legible hours’ ring in grey, as well as white Super-Luminova on the indexes. Matching the dial, the hours, minutes and seconds’ hands are black plated and filled with Super-Luminova. Both face and case back crystals are made of antireflective sapphire.
The result of years of intensive R&D by Angelus’ engineers and watchmakers, the U50 Diver Tourbillon’s A-300 mechanical hand-wound caliber is designed as a skeleton from the ground up rather than simply being a cut-out version of an existing movement.
Angelus U50 Black edition
Much reduced in weight, it has maximum rigidity from its beam-type bridges and the fact that all the movement’s main elements, such as the wheels and barrel, are firmly secured between two plates. This design replaces the conventional main plate and bridges construction and massively increases the mechanical resistance of the movement. The watch’s rigidity is further enhanced by the Angelus in-house six-spoke design, which reinforces the wheel train and protects the skeletonized ratchet and barrel. Finally, the movement is entirely manufactured in-house.
With its core functions – hours, minutes, small seconds – the A-300 caliber has a 55-hour power reserve. The 4 Hz / 28,800 vph frequency is a guarantee for precision. Even though the caliber is intended as a high-performance, it has painstakingly executed with snailed black DLC coating and chamfered edges, matching the blacked-out allure of the U50 Diver Tourbillon Black Edition.
The U50 Diver Tourbillon Black Edition comes on a black rubber strap bearing the Angelus logo, with a Bback DLC titanium pin buckle, completing the look of this 25-piece limited edition diver’s watch.
