It wasn't too long ago that Doris had been offered quite the delectable treat from the white hare herself. She'd made that Chamomile-Mascarpone Tart for her. Doris remembered feeling a ounce of jealousy while beholding the sweet treat offered to her. And by slight ounce, I mean, a tremendous amount. How did she know how to bake so well- and better than her?

Doris would offer a strained forced smile to hide her envy before taking a bite of the treat, and gee was it even better tasting than it was visually appealing. It only made the vigilance grow even more inside of her. Cocking her head to the side Doris would say " it's....OKAY. " Lying through her teeth while cause in all honesty, it wasn't 'okay' it was in fact amazing!

But it wasn't long for Doris to hurry up and run off to then prove she could do better. The moment she got home the mood shifted as she hastily gathered utensils and cooking supplies out the pantry. Her cooking was better- she wasn't going to let this woman try to beat her at her own game. It felt personal, least, to Doris it was personal. She made it personal.

When done, Doris hurried back over to where Vienna last was with a rather cocky attitude that was hidden by her over friendly voice. This was of course a facade and by no means did she even feel like acting friendly to this girl, but played the role the best she could.

" Oh my-- there you aAaAare! " Doris welcomed, baring her a toothy but forceful smile. " I know I didn't have to but...you made me SUCH a treat that I thought I could repay you by making you something in return. Im sure youre going to love it." That was when she'd reveal to the woman just what she'd made for her.

" I call it-- Doris's Ham Jell-O salad. A far more healthier and nutritious meal." Maybe at first glance it'd appear that she was doing this out of sabotage but no. Not at all. This was Doris's genuine cooking method and her attempt to outshine Vienna. " I know, hard to resist but please go ahead, indulge yourself. "
