हिंदुओं और मुसलमानों के बीच कौन बो रहा है नफरत के बीज ?
INDIA TV India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma.

Just responding to a previous ask I saw on your blog to share a personal side of the story. My ex boyfriend was a palestinian refugee in the country I was living in. He didnt have a passport, just UNs ID passes that barely allowed him to leave the country. This is a violation of his human rights due to his country being under occupation.
The two state solution after british colonisation is what happened to India. As a south Indian, I am far removed from border strife but the Pakistan - Indian border is one of the most violent zones in the world. I moved abroad and met a lot of Pakistanis, they often mistake me to be pakistani and I mistake them to be Indian. Culturally, we're very similiar, we are a diaspora of people that white colonisers will group into the same band and be racist against. Now, as I look at India turning into a Hindu nation and Pakistan into a Muslim nation, I wonder who started this, who sowed these seeds of hatred between very similiar peoples?
My last point is that there are Arab Jews. The arab world is the birthplace of all three monotheistic religions in the world - Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These religions are chock full of flaws, misogynistic, suppressed pagan religions, you name it. But there are arab Jews. They lived peacefully before a european colonial power created a settler colony there.
I have a bad habit of being attached to people who have similiar identities to myself. Thats the only reason I carved out time to write out a long monologue. I usually would not interact with posts like that.
I mean, we're basically taught in NCERT history textbooks the White trick of divide and conquer... That's what the British have done to both Palestine and India, the same thing. During British rule, localised religious skirmishes between Hindu and Muslim communities got magnified and spread through the nation, even as far down South as Northern Keralam. What's happening in Palestine isn't too different, now there is a "Jewish" state and a "Muslim" state. It's the Whites.

ShankhNaad – An Alt News exposé of the communal rabble rouser and leading peddler of fake news
New Post has been published on http://secondcovers.com/shankhnaad-an-alt-news-expose-of-the-communal-rabble-rouser-and-leading-peddler-of-fake-news/
ShankhNaad – An Alt News exposé of the communal rabble rouser and leading peddler of fake news
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();
Social media is replete with misinformation, rumours and fake news that is often disseminated with the motive of causing division among communities. This exercise is being conducted in an organised manner through various portals and twitter handles. One such portal, ShankhNaad.net is notorious for deliberately planting false information on the internet. ShankhNaad has been exposed on multiple occasions by fact checking websites including Alt News. That has however not deterred ShankhNaad from posting inflammatory content with alarming regularity. Let us take a look at the mischief it has resorted to since its inception in 2013.
1. Pakistan beat India in the Champions Trophy final on June 18, 2017. The very next day on June 19, ShankhNaad posted a video on twitter wherein it is seen that two youths on a bike are holding the Pakistan flag in their hands
This isn’t sportsmanship but radical islamic extremism which attaches them to islamic nation.
Why to tolerate this in d name of secularism? pic.twitter.com/oJ40G7NZHj
— ShankhNaad (@ShankhNaad) June 19, 2017
The story expectedly turned out to be false. This was a video of two youth from the Muslim community out on the occassion of Eid-E-Milad in Dec 2016 according to Vadodara Police. Alt News exposed the truth which can be read here.
2. Recently in October, ShankhNaad tweeted about the desecration of the statue of Swami Vivekananda at Bhadohi in UP as being the handiwork of muslims
The SP of Bhadohi, following these rumours issued a clarification stating that one Premchandra Gautam had been arrested. Clearly, an attempt was made to inflame passions between the members of the two communities. This lie too was debunked by Alt News.
3. In September 2017, ShankhNaad posted a video on twitter claiming that Muslims had set a Hindu temple on fire and indulged in rioting and arson in Hyderabad
Chilling video shows how #Hindu Temple, Vehicles & Cows in Goshala were set on fire by Muslim mobs in #Hyderabad, India. *Date Unknown* pic.twitter.com/gpA596BdN7
— ShankhNaad (@ShankhNaad) September 26, 2017
The video was promptly debunked by Hyderabad police which issued a statement that the video was fake and that no such violence had taken place anywhere in Hyderabad.
4. On July 30 2017, ShankhNaad posted a gruesome video of a man’s hands being chopped off. ShankhNaad claimed that the video was of Rajesh, an RSS worker who was killed in Thiruvananthapuram. The video was widely shared before it was revealed that it was actually a video from Brazil shot in 2014 when a suspected thief had been assaulted. ShankhNaad subsequently deleted the tweet.
5. In July 2017, another false piece of information was shared by ShankhNaad. It alleged that a Hindu female convict died after she had been brutalised by a Muslim jailor at the Byculla prison in Mumbai
Why no outrage over this?? Jailor Waseema Shaikh inserted lathi inside private parts of Hindu woman convict. Inpired by…
Posted by Shankh Naad on Tuesday, July 4, 2017
The truth of the matter was that the convict Manjula Shetye had been assaulted by five women constables including Waseema Sheikh. The other constables were Hindu. This was another deliberate attempt to rouse tension between Muslims and Hindus.
6. Again in July 2017, ShankhNaad posted a video of a police station being attacked, claiming that members of the Muslim community at Shamli in UP attacked the police station and indulged in rioting and arson
How Muslim mob had attacked police station, pelted stones, arson, riots. Routine for them.#NotInMyName gang keeps silence on it, always. pic.twitter.com/YPWGVq3aWh
Shop On SecondCovers
— ShankhNaad (@ShankhNaad) July 2, 2017
This is 2 year old video in which legal action has already been taken.
— shamli police (@shamlipolice) July 3, 2017
Shamli police immediately issued a clarification saying that said video was two years old and appropriate action had already been taken.
7. On June 30 2017, ShankhNaad posted on its twitter timeline a video wherein it claimed that Muslims were beating up Hindus who had gathered for the Ganesha Chaturthi festival in Maharashtra
Horrendous! #Jihadi attacks during #Ganesha festival are new normal in Maharashtra. Why is #NotInMyName gang of pseudo-liberals silent ? pic.twitter.com/pap4OJTyFT
— ShankhNaad (@ShankhNaad) June 30, 2017
The video in question was actually shot in 2009 at Miraj in Sangli when violence had broken out over an inflammatory poster that had been put up during the Ganesh Utsav.
8. ShankNaad did not even spare the father of the nation. In an article that it shared on its twitter timeline, it attributed a quote to Mahatma Gandhi wherein he asked Hindu and Sikh women to ‘cooperate with Muslim rapists’
RT if you think ideology of #Gandhi is a boost for #Rape Jihad and disgrace to humanity !! .#Islam #HinduDeniedEqualityhttps://t.co/SaC8TeQXrP pic.twitter.com/3SCSmVff6D
— ShankhNaad (@ShankhNaad) November 11, 2017
This outrageous claim was debunked by Alt News.
9. In October 2014, the Facebook page of ShankhNaad which was then named ‘Dr Subramanian Swamy’ passed off a photo of a girl who was grieving her father’s death as a Yazidi rape victim of ISIS.
10. In January 2014, ShankhNaad’s FB page ‘Dr Subramanian Swamy’ shared a picture of police lathicharging protesters. The post claimed that Hindus in Bangladesh were being beaten up by Muslims. However, the photo in question was that of violence that had broken out in Bangladesh during the elections and it had nothing to do with Muslims beating up Hindus.
11. On July 4 2017 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a state visit to Israel, ShankhNaad posted a photo of a protest, claiming that it was organised by Indian Muslims against the PM’s visit. This lie was busted when it came to light that the photo in question was of a protest that took place in Sri Lanka in 2012.
If you like our stories, do follow Alt News on Facebook.
ShankhNaad’s website Shankhnaad.net was registered in October 2013. It is owned by Rahul Priyadarshi. Since its inception, it has been systematically posting malicious information with the intention of vitiating inter-community relations. The posts are such that the minority community is blamed for the provocations with the intention of sowing the seeds of hatred and division. It has more than 1.3 million followers on Facebook and 18000 followers on Twitter who are continuously fed untruth through provocative videos that are uploaded with misleading titles and captions, photos which are taken out of context and inflammatory messages that are circulated almost on a daily basis. Alt News has repeatedly busted ShankhNaad’s lies. The divisive agenda of this page is well-known. When will Facebook and Twitter act? Are authorities waiting for a communal flare up before action is taken against the person behind the page?

100 Sayings of Shirdi Sai Baba
Why fear when I am here?
 I am formless and everywhere
I am in everything and beyond. I fill all space
All that you see taken together is Myself.
I do not shake or move
If one devotes his entire time to me and rests in me, he need fear nothing for body and soul.
If one sees me and me alone and listens to my Leelas and is devoted to me alone, he will reach God
My business is to give blessings
I get angry with none. Will a mother get angry with her children? Will the ocean send back the waters to the several rivers?
I will take you to the end.
 Surrender completely to God
If you make me the sole object of your thoughts and aims, you will gain the supreme goal.
Trust in the Guru fully. That is the only sadhana
I am the slave of my devotee
Stay by me and keep quiet. I will do the rest.
What is our duty? To behave properly. That is enough
My eye is ever on those who love me
Whatever you do, wherever you may be, always bear this in mind: I am always aware of everything you do.
I will not allow my devotees to come to harm
If a devotee is about to fall, I stretch out my hands to support him or her.
I think of my people day and night. I say their names over and over.
My treasury is open but no one brings carts to take from it. I say, “Dig!” but no one bothers.
My people do not come to me of their own accord; it is I who seek and bring them to me.
All that is seen is my form: ant, fly, prince, and pauper
However distant my people may be, I draw them to me just as we pull a bird to us with a string tied to its foot
 I love devotion.
This body is just my house. My guru has long ago taken me away from it
Those who think that Baba is only in Shirdi have totally failed to know me
Without my grace, not even a leaf can move
I look on all with an equal eye
I cannot do anything without God’s permission
God has agents everywhere and their powers are vast
I have to take care of my children day and night and give an account to God of every paisa
The wise are cheerful and content with their lot in life
If you are wealthy, be humble. Plants bend when they bear fruit.
Spend money in charity; be generous and munificent but not extravagant
Get on with your worldly activities cheerfully, but do not forget God
Do not kick against the pricks of life
Whatever creature comes to you, human or otherwise, treat it with consideration
Do not be obsessed by the importance of wealth
See the divine in the human being
Do not bark at people and don’t be aggressive, but put up with others’ complaints
There is a wall of separation between oneself and others and between you and me. Destroy this wall!
Give food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, and clothes to the naked. Then God will be pleased
Saburi (patience) ferries you across to the distant goal
The four sadhanas and the six Sastras are not necessary. Just has complete trust in your guru: it is enough
Meditate on me either with form or without form, that is pure bliss
God is not so far away. He is not in the heavens above, nor in hell below. He is always near you
If anyone gets angry with another, they wound me to the quick
If you cannot endure abuse from another, just say a simple word or two, or else leave.
What do we lose by another’s good fortune? Let us celebrate with them, or strive to emulate them.
That should be our desire and determination.
I stay by the side of whoever repeats my name
If formless meditation is difficult, then think of my form just as you see it here. With such meditation, the difference between subject and object is lost and the mind dissolves in unity.
If anyone offends you do not return tit for tat.
I am the slave of those who hunger and thirst after me and treat everything else as unimportant.
Whoever makes me the sole object of their love, merges in me like a river in the ocean.
Look to me and I will look to you.
What God gives is never exhausted, what man gives never lasts
Be contented and cheerful with what comes.
My devotees see everything as their Guru.
Poverty is the highest of riches and a thousand times superior to a king’s wealth.
Put full faith in God’s providence.
Whoever withdraws their heart from wife, child, and parents and loves me, is my real lover.
Distinguish right from wrong and be honest, upright and virtuous.
Do not be obsessed by egotism, imagining that you are the cause of action: everything is due to God.
If we see all actions as God’s doing, we will be unattached and free from karmic bondage
Other people’s acts will affect just them. It is only your own deeds that will affect you.
Do not be idle: work, utter God’s name and read the scriptures.
If you avoid rivalry and dispute, God will protect you.
People abuse their own friends and family, but it is only after performing many meritorious acts that one gets a human birth. Why then come to Shirdi and slander people?
Speak the truth and truth alone.
No one wants to take from me what I give abundantly
Do not fight with anyone, nor retaliate, nor slander anyone.
Harsh words cannot pierce your body. If anybody speaks ill of you, just continue on unperturbed
Choose friends who will stick to you till the end, through thick and thin.
Meditate on what you read and think of God.
I give my devotees whatever they ask, until they ask for what I want to give.
You should not stay for even one second at a place where people are speaking disrespectfully of a saint.
If you do not want to part with what you have, do not lie and claim that you have nothing, but decline politely saying that circumstances or your own desires prevent you.
 Let us be humble
Satsang that is associating with the good is good. Dussaya, or associating with evil-minded people,
is evil and must be avoided.

What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get.
Recognize the existence of the Moral Law as governing results. Then unswervingly follow this Law.
All gods are one. There is no difference between a Hindu and a Muslim. Mosque and temple are the same.
Fulfill any promises you have made.
Death and life are the manifestations of God’s activity. You cannot separate the two. God permeates all.
Mukti is impossible for those addicted to lust.
Gain and loss, birth and death are in the hands of God.
When you see with your inner eye. Then you realize that you are God and not different from Him.
 Avoid unnecessary disputation
The giver gives, but really he is sowing the seed for later: the gift of a rich harvest.
Wealth is really a means to work out dharma. If one uses it merely for personal enjoyment, it is vainly spent.
To God be the praise. I am only the slave of God.
God will show His love. He is kind to all.
Whenever you undertake to do something, do it thoroughly or not at all.
One’s sin will not cease till one falls at the feet of Sadhus
Be ashamed of your hatred. Give up hatred and be quiet.
The Moral Law is inexorable, so follow it, observe it, and you will reach your goal: God is the perfection of the Moral Law.
 I am your servants’ servant.
Always think of God and you will see what He does.
Have faith and patience. Then I will be always with you wherever you are.
