Ranking my Herb Garden by How Good they Taste in Bourbon

Lemon balm. A shoe-in. this is not unlike a mint julep, but more subtly citrusy

Rosemary. A lot of people claim rosemary is a mosquito repellent, which I can’t confirm because mosquitoes can find me from 20 miles away regardless. Other people claim being really drunk masks your CO2 signature from mosquitoes, which, anecdotally, still doesn’t work but you will be too drunk to notice you have been bitten 25 times until morning. And then it’s another shocking surprise to go with that hangover. But hey, maybe you can get a synergistic effect? This is a little savory and pine-y in flavor, kind of pleasant if you like rosemary to begin with

Thyme. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t really add anything.

Oregano. This one’s actually bad.

my basil plants are still too little to harvest any leaves. I hear really good things about basil-based cocktails and I’m excited to have the experience of just, drinking a goddamn pizza, but sadly for now I have to put basil in the bottom tier for reasons of nonexistence
