i love dottore as a character he's so interesting

#i like it because i actually dont find him arrogant #or at least i dont think his arrogance is exactly what people think it is #because arrogance usually implies that someone believes themselves to be somehow all knowing #but i truthfully think that dottore as a whole doesnt think that of him #his like? pride seems to come from how he views himself as a 'true' scholar #and i think it can be argued that he IS #abandoned ethics or conviction he is genuinely seeking answers to questions few understand #and he's not like incredibly powerhungry #exploitative? evil? yes but not power hungry to me #i really like him as a character he is intriguing
