Susan Harrison-Tustain is an internationally renowned artist specialising in Watercolour and oil painting. Born in New Zealand in 1956 Susan has been oil painting since she was a small child. Susan was particularly inspired by one of the greatest artists in Dutch history and the world throughout; Rembrandt Harmenszoon van rijn, most commonly known as Rembrandt. It was the compelling lighting that Rembrandt displayed in his art that fascinated Susan the most, this passion for art is what lead Susan to later explore with watercolour painting.

After an extensive trip to Europe visiting the national galleries and exploring the world of art, Susan decided to pursue a career on a professional level as an established artist. Susan has had her work represented in collections throughout the U.S.A, Britain, France, Italy, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. Having had her work displayed in many media publications as well as holding successful and highly anticipated exhibitions, she also actively tutors workshops on watercolour & Oil painting in both the U.S.A and her home country New Zealand. Susan Harrison-Tustain has a variety of published books and DVDs detailing her workings as well as tutorials to achieve a professional quality image like her own. These are aimed at budding artists, professionals and complete beginners alike. Susan is passionate about sharing a common love and interest for fine art and is very open to sharing not only her finished work but her process and talent with the world, even offering free short written  tutorials on her website.
