hi luvs ♡

a bit of a bittersweet post today, but after the new year aesocnet will no longer be active! 

you may (or may not) have noticed that i have not been that active all year and being completely transparent, i no longer have the time nor energy nor motivation to run this ocnet anymore. with both university studies and my work responsibilities, i have little time to work on the ocnet and if i do get time, it not nearly enough to get anything done. which leaves member updates and messages neglected and i always feel like i am letting the members down. i think it is for the best for myself to say finally say goodbye to this account. 

we’ve had a good three years (almost) and i want to end on a happier note, so i will be holding the final aes!ocnet awards in december and will be reblogging all posts that are tagged with #aes!ocnet until january 1st 2023. please do not use any aesocnet tags after that as it would be a waste of time as i am not following them. 

with all this being said, I have really enjoyed most of my time here and have made some amazing mutuals that i will cherish my interactions with! this account will act as an archive and if you wish to stay connected, i would love to be mutuals over at my main @ourpaige​ ♡

just thought i would come on here and give a few updates! it’s the time of semester where uni gets very hectic with assessments so some changes will be happenning to the ocnet over the next month. thus :: 

♡ apps will close on monday [22/08] and remain closed for around a month. please get your apps in before then!  ♡ daily reblogs will continue! i usually do these after i complete my uni work but if my uni work increases, some days of reblogs may be missed / have less posts!  ♡ updates will be done on weekends only! i will check both the dms + updates forms on saturdays / sundays and add to both member pages & the member directory! ♡ my dms will be open and i will try to reply as quickly as i can, but due to scheduling, i may only be able to reply friday-monday!  ♡ any other projects [ie calendar] will be on the backburner as my main focus in member info + reblogs for the time being! 

i hope that clears everything up for why there may be some less productivity over the next few months. if u have any queries / concerns please feel free to message / send me an anon!

hello luvs ♡! the aes!ocnet awards are ready to finish the year with a bang with its final award season ever!! 

this award season we’re keeping the same vibe as last year but turning up the heat and competition for these awards! just like last year, the awards timelines is; 

the choose your nominees form is open now!! get those votes in from november 1-14 ♡! the choose your winners form is open for a full month; from november 21 until december 12 ♡! the winners will finally be penned between december 26 and january 1.  post the final ceremony, aes!ocnet will say its final goodbye ♡!

but wait! before you have your say; remember our main rules! 

01. under no circumstances does aes!ocnet condone any bullying or harassment of nominees / winners. i understand being upset or emotional but do not take it out on the creators who work hard and deserve love and appreciation! any nastiness will warrant a disqualification from the awards! 

02. no spam votes. aes!ocnet deletes all spam votes in the choose your winner form as it makes it unfair for others and is frankly annoying! if you are going to vote for the same people, please spread it throughout a 24-hour period. 

03. vote for your fav dammit! the nominees and winner are completely made up of the community’s votes, thus if you do not vote then the votes won’t magically appear! vote for your favs or risk the chance that they won’t be nominated! and definately don’ spread hate when it doesn’t go your way!

just a heads up that until further notice the members directory will not be updated as it’s broken and i physically can’t save any updates for it! i have contacted tumblr staff so fingers crossed they can figure all the issues with the javascript!

i have decided to open the applications back up earlier as i’ve had quite a few messages about it! so apps open back up on wednesday, june 1st!

just a heads up, but from this friday i will be closing application until further notice! so if you are planning to join the ocnet, please get your application in! i most likely won’t be opening them back up till the end of semester which is november. 

i’m mainly doing this as the ocnet has well over 100 members now [omg tysm] and i want to perfect my current agenda ie members directory + page, tag, frequent reblogs, the discord server. so expect some updates!!

i do have quite a few assessment + personal things coming up which is why my updates have been null, but hopefully after next week i can get back into the spin of things.
