hellooo may i ask can you give us thoughts on about Akiren f!s/o goro in a ploy relationship ?? :3

i think about this everyday /j

i honestly think that they are one of the few pairings that would work in a poly relationship. i really, really love shuake whether as their simple interactions and their different views on justice or as romantic partners with competitive spirit.

i feel like if they were to be in a poly relationship with another one, it would be someone who can keep up with them and someone they truly trust. goro would want to be with someone that has either a strong philosophy or an interesting viewpoint. plus points if you are firm in your beliefs and are not easily swayed. akira would want someone passionate, and willing to fight for their justice/something they believe in.

since this is a poly relationship, consent is a must. it would take a while for this to form, especially since goro does not trust easily.

in the relationship, however, both you and goro are always spoiled by akira's cooking :3 if you also have an interest with cooking, akira would LOVE to let you in the kitchen. goro is banned.

you guys have a weekly routine. akira is a man of habit, so if you guys started watching movies on a sunday night while cuddled up with eachother, best believe it is going to be a tradition! you guys take turns picking movies.

i feel like, if given the chance, goro most definitely spoil both of you with material things. i like the idea that goro bought himself a black ring, a red ring for akira, and a black with red accents ring for you. it's kind of like a promise ring.

communication is essential in all relationships. so if you are uncomfortable with something, feel free to talk to akira and goro! akira is very understanding and gentle, while goro is kind of inquisitive.

so um. remember how i said goro and akira can get a bit competitive. WELL. that applies here. like sometimes akira will ask for a hug, and then afterwards goro will ask for a hug AND a kiss. it's mainly playful in nature, though!

Goro akechi and Yusuke with a really artistic partner. I feel like goro would have their most beautiful drawing ever framed, then next to it is a stick figure he drew with a happy face. Yusuke and them would have cute art dates, especially if they did 3d art, and they could teach each other the art forms they do! Just a thought

i absolutely believe mr. goro akechi would be so proud of their partner's work. whatever it is, he will keep it. ranging from something you doodled on a piece of napkin, to something you drew on a professional canvas, he has it. he kind of has like... a shrine at this point. if you gave him wearable art, like maybe a bracelet, scarf, keychain, or something else, he will have it on him at all times. he got lucky once while wearing it that he starts using it sparingly. only using it for times when he needs the luck, trying to preserve it. you assure him you would replace it when it breaks but he waves you off. he will love whatever it is you make, but i have a feeling that even if that one breaks and you make him a new one he will still keep both.

art dates with yusuke <3 <3 <3 i honestly think this will happen 100%!!! i feel like he would take you to all his exhibitions and walk you around and ask you for your input. whether he agrees with your views or not, he will listen intently and store the info somewhere in his brain. he values your opinions and gives great importance to whatever you have to say. if your art medium/expression is different from yusuke, he will find interest in it and would ask for you to teach him about it. there are times when he asks to watch your process as well. if it was the other way around, he would happily oblige!! i feel like if you would let him, he would want to paint you too!! you are his favorite muse. if you wanted, he would do an art collab with you!!

I HAVE ACTUALLY BRAINSTORMED ABOUT THIS A FEW TIMES .. . but if we are going down the route that s/o and joker will save akechi/prevent his fate, i honestly like the idea that s/o's persona would be sigyn. i don't know if this is a popular headcanon, but i have read a few fics that has this idea.

in norse mythology, sigyn is loki's wife. loki was found guilty for the murder of the beloved god balder, and as punishment skadi sent him away to a cave while bound to some stone slabs. she also put a poisonous snake above loki's head, which will drip venom and hurt him when it falls on his face. sigyn, being a faithful wife, holds a bowl over loki's head to prevent him from being hurt.

not to be that person but i genuinely believe akechi didn't die T_T because what was the point of the final scene of royal ending if he did!!!!!!!!!! if you guys want my thoughts on this feel free to send an ask <3

but i like the idea that akechi and s/o somehow mirror eachother's thief getup, and this especially makes sense if they have a lot of history with each other. (maybe s/o was a childhood friend, or akechi's first ever friend at work).

Melee showtimes

The setting for Yusuke and S/O would be in a museum. S/O will be pulling Yusuke's arm, but then suddenly the light hits you just right. Yusuke will shout "Hold that pose!", and you will look back looking like you have a halo because of the angle. As Yusuke scrambles to find something to sketch with, the museum will suddenly crumble and in comes the enemy effectively blocking the light source and making you startled. Yusuke is pissed, having lost the opportunity to have you model for him and proceeds to charge at the enemy. After a quick, smooth slash from his sword the enemy topples over and you finish it off with your weapon.

The setting for Akechi and S/O would be in a red carpet. Akechi smiles for the cameras, while you are in a news chopper. In the crowd, the enemy is slowly approaching to where Akechi is, and you ready yourself to jump. Before the enemy could grab Akechi from behind, you body slam it and hit it a few times with your weapon before jumping off. Afterwards, Akechi jumps in. To finish off, the both of you smiled and waved at the cameras.

Guns showtimes

The setting for Yusuke and S/O would be in a field of flowers. Yusuke walks around, and then a huge flower springs forth. Once it opened up, out you came holding out your hand with a flower. However, instead of giving it to Yusuke, you throw it behind him, where the enemy is and it exploded. This paralyzes the enemy for a few seconds, where you and Yusuke proceed to shoot your guns to finish it off.

The setting for Akechi and S/O would be in a ravaged ruins of a laboratory. Various elements in the environment are in 2D, making it feel like you are in a video game/comic book (For Akechi he feels like he is in an episode of Featherman). The both of you are sneaking around, until a loud explosion came and the wall that the both of you were hiding in was almost destroyed. The impact made you fall back, separating you from Akechi. When the enemy was nearing you, Akechi shoots his gun actively distracting the enemy. Once distracted, you jump off of your position and the both of you made the bullets rain down on the enemy.

i personally don't see goro as a pda type, especially with his public image and job (and also you might become a bargaining chip for shido) BUT BUT BUT i think he still likes to leave a little bit of himself with you especially when you're apart.

this includes things like accessories and... clothings!! like i feel like he would buy matching accessories but try to be discreet about it. like if you have matching bracelets he would hide his behind his sleeves, or if its a necklace its underneath the collar, out of view. but whenever he needs that push, that tiny bit of inspiration, he will touch it mindlessly over the fabric. to others it looks like he is trying to fix his appearance but in his mind he is thinking of you and how he has a piece of you with him.

as for clothes i bet if you let him, he would love to contribute to your wardrobe!!! he would choose some elegant pieces, and whenever you wear them you feel like a princess. honestly in his eyes, you are. it makes him very happy and a little bit proud when he sees you wear something he bought/chose. (though most of the time he's the one who bought AND chose it.)

for matching clothes, since once again, he DOESN'T want to put you in harm's way, more often than not, it rarely happens. maybe matching scarves, gloves, socks... the small things that aren't that obvious. but matching outfits are a no-go.

however.... if we are talking about after third sem goro.... i think he becomes a bit lenient. like he won't try as hard to hide your matching accessories or clothes... but shido's goons are still around so he cannot be too lax.

sometimes he wishes the circumstances were a little different. he wishes he didn't have to hide so much.

sometimes he wishes he could love without the fear of losing you.

HMMMMMMM i am going to make this as a part of my ramblings series, since this is more of an open discussion or sumn . .therefore theres no structure to this whole post and i apologize </3 but if you want me to make an official headcanons version of this, feel free to send another ask!

NOW FIRST LETS TALK ABOUT HOW THE SOULMATES ARE CONNECTED... i've seen alot of versions of the soulmates trope such as: having a tattoo of the first thing your soulmate says to you, red string trope, seeing colors trope, dreams trope...

personally . . my absolute favorite is the colors one . . . SO I WILL GO WITH THAT FOR MY IDEA

okok but what if. . . WHAT IF . .. the soulmates also passes on to the personas . . . like as i have mentioned before loki has a wife named sigyn.. . . WELL robin hood has a lover named marian so . . . ASDASDASD i am not suggesting s/o to be a wildcard (or to be strictly female, we have characters like brown from p1 having a persona of the opposite gender, and p3 femc having a genderbent orpheus), but im just saying both of akechi's personas technically have a partner so .. . just an interesting thought ehehehehehe

I would like to believe that Goro was a cheerful child, and I feel like he was very excited to see his soulmate. But as life goes on, his view on soulmates altogether soured. Goro has seen how his mother's soulmate treated her, and his scum-of-the-earth father would gladly discard his soulmate just for power, so Goro sees soulmates as a weakness more than anything. He wishes his world to be forever grayscale.

However, as he continues mingling with the leader of the Phantom Thieves, he eventually met everyone else, including you. The first time, it was a speck of color. If he was not paying attention he would have missed it. But he swears he started seeing the color of his coffee for a few seconds, and when he blinked it was gone again. Back to his monochrome world.

And he swears for the first time, he became afraid.

I feel like Goro would put up walls around you, and a door, and some locks, and a gate, and an electric fence. Basically he is just very secretive and evasive when it comes to you. If ever there was a moment where the both of you were left alone, he would quickly shut down any ideas of you starting a conversation. Every time it happens, you were disappointed. Every time he does it, he feels his heart break a little.

When he sees your Persona for the first time... He feels a lot of things. Guilt, anger, sadness... Guilt because you were stuck with him, anger because it felt like the world was making fun of him, and sadness because... he fears he will let you down, or end up like his father sent from hell. Of course, if you gave him a chance, Goro would do his absolutely best. But he feels like his family line is a big jinx, so he decides that for your happiness he will not pursue you.

But you just had to be persistent, huh?

And slowly, the world started becoming colorful. It was like your warmth was seeping through the cracks of his barely-working heart, and he shouldn't want this, but he does. He wants to one day be able to wake up, and the first he sees is your bright smile. He wants to leave work, and you'll stop him on his way out because he forgot his lunch. He wants to go home and hear you greeting him as he puts away his shoes. He wants the late-night talks, the long walks on the park, the cuddle sessions on the couch, the play dates, the jazz dates....

But when has Goro Akechi ever gotten what he wanted?

yes yes!!! goro's perfect reality would be a reality where you are safe and he does not have to hide anymore :((( i genuinely think that if it weren't for the circumstances of the current reality, he would be alot more open to the public about your relationship.

i headcanon goro to be very proud of his s/o, like if you specialize in something he would be boasting about it. oh you are great at cooking and made him lunch? he's telling the whole office that he has a lovingly-prepared homemade lunch! oh you are an artist? he'd be showing yusuke your work and slightly goading him that you're better than him!

he is very proud of you and loves you very much!!

so yes! in his perfect reality he would gladly match outfits and do dumb halloween costumes! he HAS some limits though, he still has his pride. but maybe you have a way around that? (give him a kiss on the tip of his nose and do puppy eyes!!! he turns to mush and goes soft with that.)

but sadly the circumstances do not allow it :( so he resorts to sweet nothings spoken behind closed doors, hidden matching accessories, and texts that are locked behind a secret phone.

speaking of phones, NGL ANON I ALSO THINK HE DOES THAT!!!! i feel like goro, if it weren't for his occupation and... other occupation, he would be a very clingy and concerned boyfriend. but since he can't exactly be there with you at all times, he opts for texting you.

he texts you through random parts of the day, sometimes with a picture.

"just arrived at school! i love you❤️"

"about to eat lunch, having curry. what's your lunch, my princess?"

"going to work now, tell me when you get home. mwa❤️"

alternatively, i don't know if this app exists in other countries BUT my friends and i downloaded this app called life360. and basically what it does is, if you make a group and added people in it, all the people in that group will be updated when you go to a certain place and/or if your battery is dying.

I FEEL LIKE THATS A THING GORO WOULD LIKE!!! so yeah :3c maybe you guys have that with him, and if you didn't text right away, he would just check the app.

you turn to your side after minutes of shuffling and trying to get comfortable. you come face-to-face with your boyfriend, goro. he seems sleepy, but refuses to fall asleep. you're confused, but bring a hand up to play with his hair. he seems to like it when you do.

"can't sleep?" you ask, voice soft. as if it was a secret meant just for you two.

"i don't want to," he answers, much more quieter. he sighs, and puts an arm around your head and one on your waist. he pulls you closer.

"why?" you nuzzle your nose into him, he gives a small smile and closes his eyes.

"i'm scared you won't be here when i wake up," he stilled.

"i will be, i love you goro. i won't leave."

he's silent for a moment, and then opens his eyes. "i love you, so so much. i would do anything for you to be happy."

you bury your face in his neck, and goro breathes in your scent. he hugs you tighter, and hopes that this time, it's different. whichever god, entity, or demon is listening to him, he hopes that they let you stay. if they were to grant him his first and last wish, it would be you.

it will always be you.

And if you stop doing this because of certain circumstances, Goro will miss it. Whether you stop doing it because you were taken away or you had a mission in other city, it does not stop Goro's longing for you.

If there ever comes a time wherein Goro has to choose between you or the world... well.

His s/o is so buys with sm that she left there daughter under his care fully and he still got some small errands to do, so he did what Ren dose to Morgana, as he gose doing his work and having a cute hidden cat inside his shoulder bag (he didn't want to put there kid inside there suitcase) and checking after ever 25 minutes on her, and him going swinging at LeBlanc for some coffee only finding our beloved protagonist everything gose smoothly, no customers and the boss seems already left, and it seems Morgana to also wanting to be included on whatever conversation was taking on these two but then...someone wiggles out of a detective shoulder bag...

A very cute kitten pops out mewing at her papa goro, Goro just getting her on his lap while she just lay there looking at the new faces...

Just imagine Goro being so alert while his little baby is in his shoulder bag... While on the train, one hand is holding the base of his bag while the other is holding on to the railings so that he is steady and avoids shaking around his little one as much as possible.

While doing his errands, he refuses to be separated from the baby. If he was meeting with someone, he would want to do it in either an open area, or a pet-friendly place. He would not allow himself to be placed in a situation where he the little kitten would be out of his sight.

And as for the Leblanc visit.... I can honestly see that happening. As he introduces the little angel he would definitely accidentally slip up, or if not, accidentally cradle the kitten as you would a child. Ren would tease him about it, much to Goro's chagrin.
