Bitcoin, Stocks Fall Again as Risk-Off Sentiment Hits Market

After the first wave of selling hit both bitcoin (BTC) and the stock markets before the weekend, round two for the bears may be about to kick in as the new week begins in the red for both markets again.
As of press time on Monday morning (09:19 UTC), bitcoin was down by 3% over the past 24 hours, as well as 6% in a week, trading at USD 9,127 - but after dipping briefly below the USD 9,000 mark in early Monday trading.
The bearish move for bitcoin largely followed the stock market, with US S&P 500 index futures pointing to an opening on Wall Street about 2.04% lower than Friday’s close. Similarly, stock traders also remained bearish across Asia on Monday, with major indices in Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia all pointing lower.
Today’s drop lower follows another bitcoin and stock market sell-off last Thursday, which sent the price of bitcoin down by almost USD 1,000 in a single day, from just under USD 10,000 to just above USD 9,000.
Not surprisingly, the latest market action has led to an increase in correlations between stocks and bitcoin, leading some crypto traders to keep a close eye on what happens in the traditional financial markets.

Nachdem der Sprung in die Fuhrungsgruppe der Coins gelungen ist, stellt die Aufnahme des TRX in die Borse OKEx einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt dar.
Zuletzt gab es viel Bewegung bei OKEx
Dass die Kryptoplattform OKEx schon seit langerem auf Expansionskurs ist, hat sich herumgesprochen. Erst vor etwa einer Woche hatte der Betreiber angekundigt, zeitnah einige neue Coins in die Borse integrieren zu wollen. Dies passierte dann auch in Form des Bitcoin Cash sowie des Ripple. Im zeitlichen Zusammenhang gab der Betreiber in Malta ausserdem bekannt, dass Kunden nun einige neue Kryptopaare fur den Derivathandel unter Beteiligung von beispielsweise Dash und Bitcoin SV gegen die beiden digitalen Devisen Bitcoin sowie Tether freizugeben.
Tron ersetzt teilweise kurzlich entfernte Coins
Andererseits wurde NEO und zwei andere Coins aus dem Einzelhandel herausgenommen. Nun folgt die nachste relevante Meldung rund um die Borse, die Usern den C2C-Handel mit anderen Kunden der Plattform ermoglicht. Nach Auffassung mancher Fans der Wahrung war es fur die neue Portfolio-Erweiterung hochste Zeit: Als einer der internationalen Top-Adressen fur den Krypto-Handel listet OKEx nun auch den Coin Tron. Fur die Aufnahme in die Borse und den Handel spricht insbesondere, dass TRX mittlerweile den Weg in die Top 10 (Stand: 08.03.) gefunden hat, auch wenn der Kurs zuletzt wieder etwas schwachelte.
Steigt der Kurs durch die gute Meldung weiter?
Wichtig ist der Schritt fur die Kryptowahrung als solche, weil OKEx Kundinnen und Kunden gerade auch den Handel unter Einbindung verschiedener Fiatgeld-Arten fur den Devisentausch auf Basis selbst definierter Wechselkurse (dies eine Besonderheit der Plattform) wie dem Britischen Pfund, dem Rubel oder Chinas Renminbi. Dies konnte die Zahl der Tron-Interessenten deutlich steigern – eben weil viele Borsen meist beim Umtausch gegen ,,echtes” Geld vor allem auf den US-Dollar oder das Britische Pfund setzen. OKEx bietet diesbezuglich mehr Vielfalt und konnte gerade boomenden Coins und ihren Kursen auf die Sprunge helfen.
