high approval astarion w/o being outwardly evil or mean LOL this is all from memory so it may be wrong in some areas but these are his highest approval dialogues in act i

thank him when he offers to keep watch (+3)

during the second lr and he talks abt how u wanna die, play along (+5) (if u threaten him back & then say that if i die im taking u with me it nets out to a +4)

let him open the barn doors (+5) if u open them instead its just (+1)

say that u trust him(+5)

dont threaten him when u allow him to feed from u the first time (+10)

afterwards dont say ur watching him and agree to him feeding on villains (+5) (the only relationship loss in any of these options is if u order him to only drink animal blood and thats -10 i think)

give him the tome (+5)

let abdirak hit u (+5) (dont do anything that u read in the book tho that doesnt give approval)

threaten raphael in the first meeting (+5)

threaten mizora in the first meeting (+2)

say youll watch his back after meeting gandrel (+5)

^if u let him kill gandrel thats an addition (+10) (for +15 total) (this might be considered “evil” but its too funny to me to go, ‘huh. what do u think astarion?’ after gandrel warns us for five minutes)

sleeping w him the first time gives (+5)

^and offering ur neck to him during it gives (+10)

most things that ppl worry about him disapproving of (swearing to take wyvern poison, promising to help tieflings, convincing kagha to go against the shadowdruids etc.) are ONLY (-1) losses, MAYBE (-2) but those are rare

what im saying is be as good as u want just trust him and be nice to him and he’ll still fall fast
