Here is the second playlist! This one was requested by @gwendolynlerman​, who asked for music with pop/alternative vibes in Russian, Catalan, and Mandarin! I hope this works, all of these are somewhere between what I’d call alternative and what I’d call pop, so hopefully you’ll like at least some of them :’)

(Also if anyone who speaks Mandarin or Russian notices that one of these isn’t in those languages please let me know – I did my best but I don’t speak either so I couldn’t actually verify 😅)

#things i found out while making this: what 'pop' and 'alternative' mean in different cultures is wildly different #i am also genre-challenged though so i might have gotten the vibe completely wrong #also chinese pop is uhhhhhh bad i'm sorry #it was so hard to find things in mandarin that fit the right vibe because they were either ballads or Rock #the ones that i found were the closest i could get to a middle point #russian music slaps though #i now understand what all of you are on about #also yes i did put two songs by els amics and no i have no regrets #i hope you like this! it was very fun to make #i know i am incredibly slow but i am working on the other two!! they will be out soon i promise!!! #and if people want to send in more requests i will take them until i finish the last playlist #so probably like a week???? #5 anys de guillemelgat #music #catalan #general:music #catalan:general #catalan:music
