dog lover friendos! any tips on how to recognize that your dog’s having allergy problems? and any related tips on how to tell if those are food allergies specifically?

(i recognize the irony of me asking about the thing upon which i should be THEE expert. 😂 but i’m only a human allergies expert!)

#i had to take my doggie to the pet er this morning because her eyes were so irritated she couldn't keep them open! #and fortunately it wasn't anything serious #but the vet said the irritation was maybe allergies or maybe something she got into #but she's also been chewing on her feet a bit and biting herself in an itchy-seeming way #so i'm wondering if maybeeeeeeeee ... #also i get to try to put steroid eyedrops in her eyeballs tonight so pray 4 me #dollsome asks things on tumblr!
