hm.. after giving it more thought i think i want elise to win this months sonic channel poll. its a tough choice because elise and merlina both only appeared in one game and havent been acknowledged since then but. sonic and the black knight had a mix of 2d and 3d cutscenes and elise has only ever appeared as a 3d model.. with that in mind i would really like to see a cute cartoony style drawing of elise. also considering the character thats already been decided to appear in the art is silver i think id rather see him interact with elise than merlina. also it would be so nice to see more sonic 06 acknowledgement that isnt just "haha wasnt this game terrible guys *insert picture of elise kissing sonic*" especially considering itll be portraying the most hated character from that game in a positive light. so yeah #elisesweep

#i know sonic 06 is considered a failure but. #i dont think sega pretending it never existed except for having the sonic twitter make fun of it occasionally #is helping sonics reputation at all if anything its just feeding into the ''haha sonic bad'' mentality more #and i do think sonic 06 had its good qualities. like there are bad parts im not denying that. that kiss scene was weird as hell #but i think the game had a lot of potential even if the execution could have been better #theyve become less weird about sonic 06 recently. making references to it that arent just jokes #but elise still hasnt showed up in anything at all . like they played her theme at the 30th anniversary symphony #which was very surprising but i still dont really count that #also i think theres people who are only voting for merlina so sir galahad can show up and um. #i dont know if you guys are aware but the theme and silver's outfit are already chosen and its not knights related #said so in the caption of the poll #you can still vote for merlina if you want to. i wont be mad if she wins i like her a lot . probably more than elise actually #but if youre only voting to see satbk silver youre gonna be disappointed
