So I've always thought these two album covers, ELP's "Brain Salad Surgery" (1973) and Poisoned Electrick Head's "The Big Eye Am" (1994), were super similar

And I already knew (thanks to a post I found on tumblr showing some of his other artwork, which immediately made me go "that's the Brain Salad Surgey cover guy!") that the former was by the somewhat famous artist H. R. Giger and just now when I put on Big Eye Am I thought, man, I should check to see if that is actually Giger as well! How fucking cool would it be if two albums I love by two different artists had cover art by the same guy!

It's cool to know that it's INTENTIONALLY very similar to his work though!
