#also it's a really big celebration in Norway - with many many many parades & also party games & ice cream
Text
The weirdest thing about Norwegian stuff is that our national day (constitution day) (17th of may) is literally celebrated in so many countries. like wtf? When I was told it was a thing in Britain it made sense, because of history stuff (I don't know if I remember correctly, so I won't explain). But like ... ???
They have celebrations in:
Norway (obviously)
Denmark (who are literally the country we celebrate not being a part of)
Sweden (which we became sorta a part of)
UK (London, Shetland, maybe more idk)
USA
Poland
Azerbaijan
India
Tanzania
South Africa
Nepal
Ethiopia
Jordan
Afghanistan
Philippines
Finland
South Korea
Singapore
Bulgaria
Antarctica (not a country but yk, a place)
For all I know it could even be more, idk.
