both kodaka and uchikoshi are guilty of misogyny in their writing but the difference is that uchikoshi's writing makes me go "damn it's such a shame there's this bit of misogynistic dialogue/character design because this is otherwise such a good game" while kodaka's makes me go "i hate everything about this already so the misogyny is definitely not doing this any favors"

#also k*daka's misogyny is so INTRINSIC to his writing #like it feels like Objectifying Teen Girls: The Novel #uchik*shi gave me some of my favourite female characters of all time despite that #despite that they're not immune to the odd age shaming or questionable outfits. they are still very strong characters in their own right #but like i said i think the collaboration is going to bring out the worst of both of their writing 😬
