RP EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?): oh, geez. it’s gotta be at least adjacent to ten years now, huh? i believe i started roleplaying in...2011. holy shit. why does time-?
PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: okay so, most of this is embarrassing, but i’ll go chronologically! it all started when a friend introduced me to what it was over TEXT, then ask.fm became popular, and then i finally settled on FaceBook for a while (where i had 3 accounts: tohru honda, koriand’r, and toshiko sato... although i may have also written harley and molly in that era as well.) before moving to Discord and finally Tumblr. i still actually still roleplay on discord every once in a while because i have a quiet love of making servers.)
BEST EXPERIENCE: what i love most is seeing how excitedly everyone talks about the muses they write, and how passionate people are for the beautiful threads they contribute to. it makes my heart happy to see people come chat ooc, or get hyped about replies. :’)
RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS: i personally really despise vagues and hateful posts about other writers. it bums me out and makes me really anxious. callouts about people who are endangering people in the rpc are absolutely an exception to this as safety comes first and i’d rather know everyone is comfortable and safe in the corner of the internet that i've made myself a home in. otherwise . . . stay kind and classy, y’know?
MUSE PREFERENCES
FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: i love fluff and angst a whole lot, i’ll be real. the complexities of the softer emotions are fun to write, and what comes before and after the storm of a painful event can also be so interesting to dive into! smut, for me, is like rain. if i had it all the time, it wouldn’t be as thrilling to exit my home/comfort zone and experience! i very rarely write it, but i’m not opposed to it. however, i’m quite picky about who i’d write it with. (tl;dr all angst all the time, forever a fluff writer, and rarely a smut stan)
PLOTS OR MEMES: i enjoy both very much!! it’s really hard to choose. i’d really say it depends on the day, but since i sometimes use my meme account, i have a soft spot for when memes are sent in. (but when i feel comfortable dropping in to plot with someone, i get really hyped to start a thread!) i guess... memes are a super easy way to start writing with me, even if we aren’t mutuals! same with open starters... coughcoughcough ;)
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: i tend to end up going overboard and writing a long response, but i really love both. as long as there is something to build upon or react to, it’s long enough to reply with! ...but yes i’m aware that sometimes my replies are quite lengthy... oops ?
BEST TIME TO WRITE: 🎶in the velvet darkness of the blackest night🎶 as a self-proclaimed nocturnal being, i write mostly at night to early morning. sometimes in the afternoons!
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): i don’t know!! i’m not very self aware! but my tinder profile some sort of short decription i’ve written about myself somewhere at some point describes me as a less organized annie edison with a pinch of max caulfield... so perhaps some? and i think tohru honda invented my personality when i was 9 or 10 years old. lol! overall, i think no. but i think there are little speckles of me in any muse i write because all the words are from my brain LOL. and i think there are speckles of them in my current decision making because i learn things about myself through writing... so its a give and take i suppose? (tl;dr: yes and no?)

Hey everyone! Wanted to do something fun here (while y'all 'wait' for my mega wrap up post to be completed oops) so I decided to do this tag! Stolen from the Mango Queen May @ Forever and Everly so definitely check her out, and her post is here. Anyway, without further ado, the tag!*

Cas; technically a nickname and unrelated to my "real" name but ah well.

Female! She/her.

Taurus, even if it's not always obvious I am quite the stubborn one though mostly in subtle ways.

I mean, you can probably find that answer at least somewhere around this blog but I'm not gonna give it to you straight, but I am a teenager in high school, I'll give you that much.*
*Is this too cryptic? I really don't mean to be, it's just I'd like to keep it 'undisclosed' even though I've probably blabbed before.
6 Your relationship status?
Single; I've moved past the point in my life (intermediate/middle school and early high school) where I'd pretend it was "it's complicated" when that just meant about my friendships; lmao.
7 Any children?
Nope.
8 Any pets?
I mean we have like 19 chickens I think, by my last count? I'm not great at keeping track. But out of those there are the four which are most like pets to me, a black orpington and three blue orpingtons :)
9 Any tattoos or piercings?
Nope and I doubt there ever will be I'm too indecisive and why have piercings when the only thing I'd ever get pierced are my ears, and you can just have clip ons?
10 What do you like about yourself?
Uhh well I'm not one of those people who constantly puts themselves down so that's a start? (And I really don't mean any offence to anyone who is like that, I hope you start seeing what an amazing person you are! 3>

Lack of confidence on some occasions I suppose? I try to be more outgoing and I am a slightly more extroverted ambivert but I think in certain situations I just need to be more willing to take a chance.

You'd think I wouldn't, but I do? Like I definitely think you have to get to know each other and all that but I think there is that sort of instant connection, but it's not always going to turn into love.

It can. But it can also very easily make you extremely unhappy so there needs to be a balance. But if you're in a good place I don't see why an extra pay check is gonna ruin your life.
54 Would you describe yourself as a feminist?
To be honest I'm not a big fan of the word, particularly with the whole misconception of it being "women > men" etc; but I definitely support equality and would consider myself an equalist. (See this post; this is pretty much my viewpoint summed up.)
55 Are you pro-life or pro-choice?
100% pro choice. I don't think it should matter what your own opinion on abortion is; that's for you. But others should be allowed to do what they want with their body.

Yeah I guess? I do try and keep myself educated about such things but I'm not like a political activist or anything.

No way.

Don't like either, prefer hot chocolate but coffee. I actually have more tea but I don't like it very much.

Sometimes I do, but then I decide it's not that big of a deal because you know, the past is full of mistakes I've learnt from. The lessons are more important than erasing the mistakes.

Ahh, five years... I'll probably be at uni, but ideally I'd like to be in the US whether it's to do with academic or music I care less.

Happy new year everyone! 🌟 Today’s post rings in the new year with my monthly news round-up, with all the details on what’s coming up for January 2018 – we have the Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year 2018 collection launches, some Disney Parks updates, info on the next Pandora Disney UK release, and more! 🌈
I hope you all had a lovely time celebrating (or not celebrating) the new year! We cooked a nice dinner with family, and then spent the evening playing Pictionary, learning how to play poker and watching The IT Crowd. 😊
I apologise again to anyone who was disappointed by the Pandora SS18 sneak peeks being removed. I hope to be in discussion with Pandora about this soon, and will provide an update when I can. I’ve read through and appreciate, as always, all your interesting and thoughtful comments, but will hold off my responses for the time being.

Pandora Valentine’s 2018 collection release
The main event for this month is the launch of the Pandora Valentine’s 2018 collection. The collection has had mixed reviews from collectors, and features a set of lip-themed jewellery alongside the usual hearts and pinks. It’s due to launch on 11 January – and you can see a full preview if you look through the Pandora Valentine’s Day 2018 tag.

Pandora Chinese New Year 2018 release
As is tradition, Pandora are also putting out a special release in honour of the lunar new year. This year, we’re being treated to two new dangle charms – you can see a full preview here.
We have this cute live shot of the two charms, thanks to Sha! The charms strike me as being quite representative of ‘old’ and ‘new’ Pandora: the figure, with its two-tone and red enamel, being more in keeping with existing CNY charms; and the heart, with its sparkly pink CZs, more in line with newer Pandora collections.
I’m told that these will be available in North America and Australia/New Zealand, but not the UK. 😦 I am in love with the little God of Fortune and so I’ll definitely be getting him to go on my red Asian-themed bracelet:

Pandora Disney Cruise gift set
There’s a new Disney cruise exclusive Pandora gift set available, including an engraved version of the Frosty Mint shimmer murano, the Cruise ship dangle charm and a Disney version of the usual engravable pavé button charm. This features a sailor Mickey Mouse on one side, and the Disney cruise logo on the other.

Pandora Disney UK February 2018 Release
The next Pandora Disney drop for the UK will be in February – there won’t be brand new beads included, but we’ll be catching up on some of the charms that have already made it out in other countries. The new Disney beads will be out on 15 February.
I don’t have specific details of what charms exactly will be coming out, but I can confirm the characters that will be making an appearance:

Winnie the Pooh & friends
Donald & Daisy Duck
Ariel
Snow White (including the Anniversary charm)
Rapunzel’s Dress (but not Maximus! :()

Pandora hallmarking changes
I’m sure every collector is familiar with Pandora’s hallmark: 925 ALE if the charm is 2011 or before, and S925 ALE if the charm originates after that point. However, charms have been cropping up over the past few months with new, unfamiliar hallmarks, and I’ve had a few questions about this. After a little research, I found the following info, courtesy of Dora Melinte. 🙂
This text from a French Pandora brochure explains that additional hallmarks have been added to certain Pandora products to help them pinpoint any quality control issues. The new hallmarks include a range of different symbols:

Pandora Winter 2017 sales continue
Winding up the round-up, I wanted to note that many of Pandora’s regional winter sales are still running and will do so for the first week of January in many cases. I’ve listed the details for most of the sales in my previous sales alert post. Pandora US has extended their sale until 7 January, too.
I’m aware that I don’t want much from Valentine’s (if anything) apart from the CNY bead and the Club charm, and so I’ve gone a little bigger on my sales purchases than I might have done otherwise. 😂 After all, I have a little window to absorb my sales spending before March, lol.
I got the red Twinkle murano, the Club charm 2017 and the Koinobori in the US sale. Yes, I finally cracked and got the lovely Koinobori! I’m wanting to put the muranos on my red leather as a complementary design to my main CNY red bracelet.
Then, as my brother is over in Australia again and can be my Pandora mule, I hit that sale too… two Rapunzel muranos for me, and the Lock of Longevity too, neither of which have made it out in the UK thus far.
Finally, in the UK sale, I got the lovely little Wise Owl. I’ve wanted this for such a long time! He’s on my Halloween bracelet. 😀

It’s going to be a bit of a quiet month for me, as I need to hunker down after indulging so much in the sales. ^^ I’m looking forward to seeing all the Valentine’s 2018 pieces in person – I don’t intend on buying anything, but I’m open to being pleasantly surprised by something when I see it in store. The Lock your Promise bracelet is a possibility, although I don’t really need to start a new design.
