potentially have an interview for a graphic design job (basically had a pre-interview to gauge me for an actual interview). but they want me to sign a noncompete agreement so i wouldnt be able to do any fun commissions outside of work anymore and i... dont like that :(

#i need a job! i need money! but i want to be able to do fun commissions! this is the first potential interview #ive gotten after months of applying to jobs #but by hr and their ballpark offer was $15-19 which is like if on the higher end quite good (i think? honestly im kind of ignorant about #this stuff b/c all i’ve ever been paid is min wage). #but for a graphic design job that’s full time. but i also am talking like I Know Things about money and stuff which i do not. #this is bumming me out. i just want money to pay rent so i can feel like i’m not a burden #and i want to be able to write and make silly things. and i finally maybe get an interview and theyre like #‘you cant do that stuff anymore if you want our money’ #maybe this is the fire lit under my butt to finally get me to finish my projects so i can try to build #an audience/livelihood that way. b/c i want to be able to design freely and take the commissions i want to take! #J: text #J: life
