goddd i forgot how much better it is to paint characters whose skin actually reflects light. i hate painting pale people so much. why do they look like that

#red rambles #im coloring the only good drawing of my new dead end design that i have because i realized i never did that. and oh my god its so much more #fun. and pleasant. and tolerable in general #i need to start liking characters who are slightly different kinds of people so i can do this more often #cant exactly justify making motormaster or drag strip brown without putting my feet directly in some Very Unfortunate Stereotypes lol #but god i hate drawing white characters so much #instead of being fun to paint they just make everything so much more sucks. #and also i have to bother remembering the difference between orange and red. tragic for me and my colorblind ass
